Been playing guitar for no less than 45 years of my 60. And that Gibson of Jared's is prolly the most amazingly organic guitar sound that I have EVER heard in my life !?!🎉😊🎉

Stop it even Les Paul didn't like the P-90's and a lot of your guys ripped theirs out and replaced them with humbuckers.

I had a white SG special, with one lead p90 ,pickup. Through a Fender super reverb, it had a sound like the beano album, with Clapton.

Watching The Who Isle of Wight showed me everything I needed to know about what a P90 could do. Pete went from bell chiming tone, to melt your face. The stack of Hiwatts didn't hurt either :D
If you haven't seen The Who Isle of Wight concert, I highly recommend it.

I'm almost,.. no I actually am embarrassed that I was really not that aware of P90's as I've been in love with guitar since I was 7 yo. I bought my 1st guitar w/P90's 4y ago and the clouds parted lol. I knew the sound but just never paid that much attention now I have 5 P90 guitars and they have become my favorite pickups.

I've been playing 39 years now and never had the opportunity to play a guitar P 90's. I live too far away to go to guitar stores all the time and when I do, it was just never on my playdar. Maybe one day before I die I get the chance.

Bought an old Gibson SG from a good friend of mine. He had swapped out the humbucks for P90's . I never know what it was like with humbucks, but I played it for a while thru a friends amp but SG had beautiful tone and I had it for many years until I had to sell it to a good friend to put my daughter thru private school, but still have a picture of it. I really miss that axe it was quite old when I got it the serial number on the back was 0000049!

I remember when I was a guitar player that I never really liked Les Pauls besides the looks of it, but one day I saw a black Les Paul with white pickups, by that time I never saw a P-90, they were uncommon here (still are), I asked to play it a little, I never forgot, that was the real deal, the sensitivity and clarity of the tone took me by surprise, I really felt that one.

Epiphone would sell a lot more guitars if they just switched all the headstocks over to open book...especially that Joe Bonamassa model..that thing is sweet..except that hideous head stock.
