Why better than a 5.56

Not sure what magazine that is but I’ve had no issue with the duramag variety. Even the 30 rounders.

Nice video, I am glad you took it a step further than most by explaining the BCG is larger with a 7.62 than a 5.56. To me the feature of their multi cal lowers, is so tempting to try different uppers. Now one thing with RF, they have a YT pg and tell people only to use brass ammo, is that your choice or do you use steel case? I have seen a couple of YT videos of people trying to use steel case in the 556 and they do get a lot of jams, but not with brass ammo.

Did you just buy the upper and put on your 5.56 lower?

Nice review. You didn't say what manufacture of magazine you were using. I just picked up my RF-15, took it to the range and fired a bunch of Tula 122 grain steel case using stainless steel 30 round Duramags (3062041205CPD). No feed issues. No eject issues. The rifle functioned flawlessly with the Duramag. The rifle is pretty generic and won't stand out among the other rifles in your safe when it comes to looks, but having the heavy barrel, B5 furniture and a BCG made by Asimuth are big pluses. I do find the trigger pull on this rifle to be a bit heavy and gritty, but hope it works out a bit as the rifle is broken in. For an optic I just slapped an $80 4x32 ACOG clone on it which has worked out just fine. (I wasn't going to pay $1k for an optic on a $400 rifle.) When it comes to ammo it tends to pay to keep stock on hand (not hoard). As far as 7.62x39 goes, I've got about 3k rounds of Wolf and 1k of Tula stored. When prices are up I have plenty to get me by. When prices are lower, that's when I buy and replenish stock. Always on the lookout for deals to maintain comfortable stock levels.

I purchased a Radical Firearms 762x39 for my wife and she loves it , upgraded to a Geissele trigger !!! Fired over 1,000 rounds through it and have had no issues , on the 30 round mags that it came with I only load 28 rounds instead of 30 rounds and it seems to work fine ... Thank you for your video and yes Radical Firearms AR15 chambered in 762x39 is a good rifle at an affordable price
