Rabbi Brian Bileci teaches the first half of Part 5 of this Revelation Study to demystify Ancient Jewish Wisdom from the Apocalyptic Writing of the Book of Revelation, as he breaks down Symbols, Seals, Seasons and the Signs of Messiah's Coming. This week he breaks down the Messianic Prophecies concerning the "Righteous Branch" [Tzemach Taddik צֶמַח צַדִּיק] from the Royal Line of King David. This foreshadows the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, as the "Root of David" from Revelation 5:5.

AUTHOR:
The student of Jesus, “John the Beloved”, was the one who received and wrote down this revelation of the Coming Messiah, while he imprisoned on the Isle of Patmos by the Roman Empire.

OCCUPATION:
He was a Fisherman, who became a “Fisher of Men”, as a disciple and later an apostle of Jesus. As the youngest disciple of the Messiah, he learned about the “End of Days” from the Master Himself, over a 3 ½ year training period.

PURPOSE FOR WRITING THE REVELATION:
1. To write the things John saw: Vision of Messiah's Return - Revelation 1
2. To write the things that are: Seven Churches which “are” in Asia - Revelation 2 & 3
3. To write the things which will take place after this: Tribulation - Revelation 4-22

AUDIENCES:
1. The Body of Believers in Messiah
2. The Nation of Israel, Scattered Tribes and the Jewish Community as a whole
3. The Kingdom of the Antichrist, or False Messiah, and his world system

Zechariah 6:10 “Take from the exiles, from Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah who have come from Babylon, and go the same day, go to the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah! 11 Take silver and gold, make crowns and set on the head of Joshua son of Johozadak, the kohen gadol. 12 Then speak to him saying, “Thus says Adonai-Tzva’ot: Behold, a man whose Name is the Branch will branch out from his place and build the Temple of Adonai. 13 He will build the Temple of Adonai. He will bear splendor and sit and rule on His throne. Thus He will be a kohen on His throne. So a counsel of shalom will be between them both. TLV

Zechariah 3:6 The angel of Adonai exhorted Joshua [kohen gadol] saying: 7 ‘Thus says Adonai-Tzva’ot, “If you will walk in My ways and keep My charge, then you will judge My House and watch over My courts and I will give you a place to walk among these standing here. 8 Listen well, Joshua [Yehoshua / Yeshua] kohen gadol, both you and your companions seated before you, because they are men who are a sign—behold, I will bring forth My servant the Branch. TLV

Jeremiah 23:3 “I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them, and will bring them back to their folds, and they will be fruitful and multiply. 4 I will raise up shepherds over them who will feed them. They will no longer be afraid or dismayed, nor will any be missing,” It is a declaration of Adonai. 5 “Behold, days are coming”—it is a declaration of Adonai—“when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch,
and He will reign as king wisely [or, and prosper], and execute justice and righteousness in the land. 6 In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell in safely; and this is His Name by which He will be called: Adonai our righteousness. TLV

Isaiah 11:1 Then a shoot will come forth out of the stem of Jesse [who is King David], and a Branch [The Messiah, Son of David] will bear fruit out of His roots. 2 The Ruach of Adonai will rest upon Him...TLV

Isaiah 11:1 A new branch [sprout; shoot;  the Messiah] will grow from the stump of Jesse [ King David’s father; the Messiah will restore David’s royal line]; a branch will ·come [sprout; or bear fruit] from his roots. EXB

Psalm 2:1 Why are the nations in an uproar, and the peoples mutter vanity? 2 The kings of earth set themselves up and rulers conspire together against Adonai and against His Anointed One [Mashiach: "Messiah"]: ...5 So He will speak to them in His anger, and terrify them in His fury: 6 “I have set up My king upon Zion, My holy mountain.” 7 I will declare the decree of Adonai. He said to me: “You are My Son—today I have become Your Father. 8 Ask Me, and I will give the nations as Your INHERITANCE, and the far reaches of the earth as Your possession. 9 You shall break the nations with an iron scepter. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s jar.” TLV
