The Captain Underpants movie came out when I was in middle school, and as someone who grew up reading the books in elementary school I absolutely loved it, now Dog Man came out when I was in high school, so I never read it, but my younger brother was in elementary school at the time and he absolutely loved the Dog Man series, and since he’s in middle school now I’m hoping the Dog Man movie can be a similar experience for him ^_^

Wow, i haven't read these books since 5th grade lol, I was definitely surprised that they're making a movie of it!

I was really hoping that they wouldn’t involve lil Petey in the first movie. I feel like it makes more sense to keep him out of it and then if they make a second movie then they can introduce him. This character isn’t introduced until the I believe third or fourth book so it would make sense to at least leave him out of the first movie. I also believe they changed the style of the news reporter. And I’m wondering where her dog is…… I have a lot to say about this movie which I won’t put all in one comment I do think it will be a great movie and I love Dav Pilky’s works but I feel like they could have done a slightly better job although I haven’t seen the movie so I can’t complain too much
