I love Indian country, haven't ever been there but i know a little bit about culture, sides of religions, foods, & even a bit about royal families in there (i watched a show with royals from 🇮🇳 seeking for spouses but they were on disguise.)
Anyway... The movie came up ans its kind of funny bkz my week's meals is been all about CURRY...

Amazing. I love this India romatic drama.❤❤❤. Indian love dancing and singing. There marriage ceremony is more dancing. Its nice to watch happiness during wedding ceremony.

I just don't like the idea that she is not proud of his dad native land where boss asked her to go India for Editorial.
In life a lot people had that character/Attitude. Wish that all people like a bamboo tree the more heights it reaches it still bows down to the earth.
It's a reminder for us a children that what may good or bad our parentsdoneto us They are still our parents. We are not where we are and who we are today becauseof them... But it's a good movie anyway

It's a very beautiful film and there are a lot of moral lessons. But I don't like the ending of course she's married, the article came out, her father visited her in the form of a pigeon but she did all that for a position as a chef. I know it's a romantic film and the goal is to find the place we didn't expect but where is its professional achievement? What has she accomplished in life besides getting married?

Rajkumar Rao and supporting Indian cast (comic timing excellent) only reason to watch this movie. Lead actress was awful -its the inflated lips - so distracting for an attractive woman. Story needed better dialogue. Nice cameo by Bo Derek, too bad Hollywood ignores older actresses.

I tried to watch it, for fun because I love India and was there in the hippy times...but at 38 min into it I am giving up. Its not american and its not indian...

But all these are only Punjabi weddings. There are countless other wedding cultures in India, even within the same state. For instance, a South Indian wedding is so different from the ones portrayed here, and even in South India there are so many types of weddings. It could be a really huge project to cover all of those.
And the stigma attached to transgenders is real and cruel, but things are steadily changing for the better.
