I would like to add a thought:

One of the greatest misconceptions modern people have about life is that belief forms action, when it is totally the other way around: your actions form your beliefs.
This misconception is at the root of so much of our struggles in life, especially for religious people. Think about that.

Meditation is the medicine.

I had a terrible injury that prevented me from riding and really doing much of anything at all. After believing and setting to work to change my heart mind and body I am so much happier and better off then I could have ever believed! Thanks for putting out such good positive thoughts and energy into this world!

You hit some key points that everyone needs to do. I've been in a similar situation a few times in the past 10 years. Getting out of a very toxic and destructive relationship, being hit by a car while biking and getting injuredpretty bad, and a major career change. I work in health care, emergency department currently. Former firefighter who switched over to work on becoming an ER nurse 2.5 years ago. I'll be graduating next year. Sometimes taking that chance to go a different direction is needed. It's a big decision to make, but you need to believe in yourself as you mentioned. It was very hard for me to walk away from the fire department after 12 years, but it was time. Do I miss it? Of course, but do I really miss it? No. Not at all. I feel like I fit in a lot more where I am at right now at the hospital. My job as a paramedic in the ER is stressful, but not as stressful as it was compared to the fire department. Keep up the great work and keep being positive and keep moving forward. You are doing great. -Craig
