Thanks Cameron. You might recall I have the hexpeak too so this was interesting. What pegs did you opt for on the cliff? Surprised re your comment on the pole movement: what have you got instead of the two walking poles? Atb gordon
ОтветитьCouds a rain strong
ОтветитьWell done on getting 1k subs!
ОтветитьAnother cracking vid, mate. The Hexpeak looks bombproof! Definitely will stand up to the test of harsher conditions.
ОтветитьWhen camping, moisture coming off the camper is likely to make the tent damper than it would be when unoccupied. Also, I’ve found the ground dries out a bit under a pitched tent. Moving on each day would reduce that benefit but, as you showed, the Hexpeak performed well. I had assumed my Duomid stays dry inside during rain mainly because of its large, apical vent. Maybe such vents are only essential on tents made from impervious materials. At home, after a trip, my silnylon Trailstar dries without being flipped over but I have to expose every surface of the Duomid to dry air to get it dry because it doesn’t dry through the fabric. Apologies for this boring comment and much repetition of the word dry after what was a surprisingly fascinating video.
ОтветитьGreat, this is what I hoped to hear since I've just ordered the Hexpeak F6e. Looking forward to seeing more. Thanks!
ОтветитьGrats on the subs and viewed hours. Why did you change the channel name? Why outlawed?
ОтветитьI like the look of that replacement pole. Is it aluminium? Is the height adjustable, and if so, what is the range of adjustment? - very informative video on the hexpeak
ОтветитьNew channel name threw me lol , good test of the new shelter but remember with you in it breathing all night the inevitable condensation will appear , saying that you will feel a lot safer in that than the lanshan lol . I have a dual pole system now for my duomid which gives a lot more space . Which inner have you got btw? Happy camping atb Dave
ОтветитьNice one chief, looks a good solid tent, loved seeing the rain bead off it. 💦
ОтветитьGreat video Scott. Tent held up well in the wind likesay 👌
ОтветитьNow that looks indestructible 😀 great vid!
ОтветитьWell done getting over 1000 subs mate! 👏
ОтветитьNice tent
Ответитьmy main bugbear when camping is condensation. and the only way to stop it is take a team of brickies and have em build you a bungalow were you mean to pitch up for the night.
ОтветитьVery well done. When you say “fly sheet” do you just mean the outer part of the tipi or did you buy a rain fly for it?
ОтветитьNice vid bud just ordered me one of these myself. subbed
ОтветитьHi bro,
The color of this tent is « sand » ?
And is this perfect even a strong storm ?
Nassim :)
I'll stay with my white duck canvas bell tent ⛺️
ОтветитьGreat vid. Did you seam seal the tent or use it straight from the supplier? Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьIs there anyway you can got a solid inner for this tent?.
Ответитьmy Hexapeak v4a just arrived I got the mushroom and pole as extras going to use on the great glen this August while I canoe from fort william up to inverness in support of the Alzheimer's Society the tent comes with seam sealant so i be doing that soon I take your advice a put the tent up for a few days it give me time to do any extra modifications to it but looking forward to using it.
ОтветитьHi..in your opinion, would a standard trekking pole that is long enough(extends to 140-145cm) be strong enough to support the tent in bad weather? That missing link really sounds like a pain to me..
ОтветитьMate you need to do some more videos you haven’t done any in years hope your well
ОтветитьHi mate what’s the single long pole you use I’ve just got myself a hexpeak for my canoe trip on the river Spey I’ve ordered the pegs you use I just need to know what poles to go for
