Aint odorless mineral spirit a medium?
ОтветитьHope you are safe! Heard you had a pretty big earth quake today in your area! Take care !
ОтветитьMichael, “ the time of year when you can relax and experiment” , thinking of your videos 💭💭💭🤔
ОтветитьTwo hours to paint takes me days.
ОтветитьLove it, I always like your cityscapes
ОтветитьNear Pac Heights?... I like but the white crosswalk lines... rather distracting, personally I'd tone way down. Great performance lots to learn from!
ОтветитьMagic. As always I fall in love with the abstract sketching in… my heart rebels when you paint it in and then I give in to the whole. I really could watch for hours. It’s so helpful to hear you talk about your thinking or process before during and after. I’d love an exploration into your favorite colors. I’d also love to know what your dream location would be to paint? How long have you been an artist? Have you tried any other mediums? I see from the board that you surf… have you ever been out in the water, and wished you could paint something you’ve seen?
ОтветитьAbsolutely love your cityscapes, Michael!!! ❤
ОтветитьAlways look forward to your videos thanks
ОтветитьLove it.
ОтветитьVery nice and thanks for the tip about sketching in with Burnt Sienna limits muddying your colours. Thanks again, always inspiring.
ОтветитьI always learn something from your videos and appreciate your positive and confident approach. It really shows in the finished painting, and I think this one turned out especially well.
ОтветитьSo cool!
ОтветитьBeautiful. Great colors. Very stylish. Like a gorgeous 1920s or 1930s travel poster. I feel like I am there.
Ответитьthumbs up from me
ОтветитьI have been watching you for a long time all the way from Australia and I must say I can keep watching. Cheers!
ОтветитьReally love the composition here and the sense of depth you were able to create. Beautiful work.
ОтветитьMy favourite cityscape you have done, absolutely love it!
ОтветитьAlways a pleasant Sunday morning when you join us at the breakfast table. Your color choices for urban landscape give the city a sun splashed "California" look... which we can really appreciate here in rain soaked Santa Rosa today!
ОтветитьI am impressed how you pull out such a brilliant composition. TY Michael
ОтветитьLove your cityscapes thanks again.
ОтветитьTurned out beautiful Michael.
ОтветитьGreat cityscape! You make it look easy.
Ответитьnice mood
ОтветитьThe painting looks amazing 🙌🖼️
ОтветитьGreat outcome, Michael!
ОтветитьLove the fresh composition from a familiar spot. The palm trees put it over the top! Great painting, Michael!
ОтветитьEver wonder what a place would look like without all the human made structures? Maybe start by painting the Alcatraz island with no buildings, maybe with an interesting color contrasting cliff and shoreline?
ОтветитьThe illusion of depth as the shapes receed across the bay is wonderful to see. It has a surprisingly calming effect to me. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьI really appreciate how you show the process of breaking down shapes in a busier cityscape. I can get overwhelmed by buildings.
Also, your helpful comment about red..
That's a hidden gem!
Beautiful painting Mike 🎨
ОтветитьCool I like the vibe.
ОтветитьI first thing I noticed was how different your brush work looks on the canvas rather than on your usual panel. I like them both but I think your panel brushwork shows more energy, just my thoughts.
ОтветитьReally nice job. Love your paintings of San Francisco
ОтветитьLovely work! Happy Sunday and enjoy your week, Michael. "Stay creative" haha not that you need the reminder ;)
ОтветитьI really enjoy watching the process. It's amazing how the eye fills in all the spaces so that you don't have to get bogged down into detail. This one turned out very nice.
ОтветитьLove the abstract shapes!
ОтветитьAppreciate the ‘light’ captured in this one Michael
ОтветитьYou have a good eye for creating perspective. Really like your color mixing/selection. Thumbs up!
ОтветитьGood morning Michael !
ОтветитьThanks Michael, I really appreciate you sharing your work and moreover, your processes and methodology.
ОтветитьNice color harmony and well done! Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьThat painting is wonderful. Loved it,thanks for everything
