How come there are so many death troopers in season four, and why are there none in in the original trilogy?
Ответитьwas the loathwolfe ashokas ghost maybe?😭
ОтветитьI want her jacket. Anyone know where to buy it from?
ОтветитьClone wars was better Disney ruined it
Ответитьwell thrawn doesn't approve of the death star, This episode shows his view of having lots of small assets vs. one big asset
ОтветитьBut what is the deal with that wolf anyway? It is not Ahsoka, that we know.
ОтветитьThank you for answering the smoke grenade/visor issue!
ОтветитьI must know what Ediro(Two Tubes) said in his lines!!! Pablo!!!
ОтветитьWhere's Ahsoka tho
ОтветитьHYPE!

ОтветитьRukh "I smell lasat, and he's not alone"
Random Imperial "sorry that was me" laughs nervously
I thought that the episodes were meh. They had great moments, but they also had moments where you just had to wonder what was going on in the writers' heads. It was good to see some nice throwbacks to the previous seasons and how they've changed over the years just as Ezra had changed. While it's interesting to see what a planet would look like if it was under Imperial occupation, I just wished that the Empire acted differently. I expected a stormtrooper or Imperial officer to be in command of the chase, not a Death Trooper. They're supposed to be elite soldiers for high ranking and distinguished Imperial officers used on specific assignments such as stealth missions, bodyguards, and defending key installations. They aren't used for handling an occupied city and dealing with frightened citizens. It's obvious that their placement was a cheap way to make the situation tense. If they used a stormtrooper officer or Imperial army lieutenant, then that would surprise the audience as they are normally incompetent (it would certainly redeem the Officer Corps a little bit after the last couple of fiascoes) and make the chase tense as you're given an unfamiliar officer who is doing a little bit better at his job than his peers.
Speaking of that chase scene, I really like this tone shift that we have as we keep returning to Lothal. If this chase scene had occurred earlier in the series, you would have the Rebels smiling, joking, knocking heads, and all around having a good time making a mess of things for the Empire even when fighting against them. And now they're tense and serious while fighting them and it's become harder. It's a pretty good progression (although I just wished that the writers stopped using cheap gimmicks and picking on the incompetence of stormtroopers for laughs).
I found the second episode to be a tad bit better than the first due to the TIE Defender getting a massive upgrade with stronger shields, maneuverability, and firepower; everything that makes that fighter awesome. I do have a nitpick and that is the missiles: those things should've blown the fighter to pieces, especially with four of them! I've played flying games with actual planes using actual ammunition that dealt more damage. I liked how unfazed I was during the whole distraction, escape, and destruction sequence although I'm confused on why I was shooting at a shielded starfighter. I'm pretty sure instead of allowing the Rebels to escape so quickly, I would've shot at Ezra as he got onto the fighter to force him off, then ordered the Imperial shuttle to target the Defender and force it to land. I'm pretty sure that the shuttle's guns would be powerful enough to accomplish the task without damaging the fighter too much. I would be taking out three birds with one stone: demonstrating the effectiveness of the fighter's defenses, stopping a Rebel mission to steal one of the fighters, and capturing two very important Rebel figures. Instead, the episode is at is because the Rebels are heroes and need to win if only partially.
The introduction of the Loth Wolf and it talking is rather fascinating. I've pretty much disregarded all theories on them as they will defy those expectations. I do find it funny that Dave Filoni finally has wolves on his show. And wolves with cats? Speaking of which, I would love to meet the great actor/actress who did the voices for all of those cats. Probably a cute little thing that you would just want to hold and cuddle and pet. I wonder how I would look like with my own pet cat since I can't have a ysalamiri?
Some of the characters had good moments (Rex and Kallus, Kanan and Hera, me, Ezra and Sabine capturing the fighter) and some characters had some bad ones (Ezra and Sabine at the bar, Hera unsure on how Ezra and Sabine will fare on their own [they've done it plenty of times before, even under Hera's orders], and the Loth cats with the stormtroopers). Like seriously, did you have to make the stormtroopers be animal abusers too? Why can't villains or villain minions be animal lovers? You could've had the cats play around with the stormtroopers only for Sabine and Ezra to stun them while distracted. Those two stormtroopers are going to face execution when they return to their abandoned posts.
While the modulator being turned on-off makes sense, I would think that in combat situations they would turn that on. An enemy that is speaking non-Basic in enemy controlled territory in a combat situation can make the scene tense and even frightening. Hence why they never did it in Rogue One, and why they shouldn't do it in Rebels. The explanation for Sabine is a complete copout. Stormtrooper helmets have vision enhancements that can see through smoke, so Death Troopers should have more advanced versions. As a matter of fact they do in the Rogue One Visual Dictionary, a book that was written by Pablo Hidalgo.
Ruhk!
ОтветитьRHUUUUUK!
ОтветитьPrince Zuko has finally made it to Star Wars!!!
ОтветитьDave is apparently not aware that as audience we don't necessarily share his infatuation with wolves. The episode was great, but the talking wolf was ridiculous.
ОтветитьI kind of want Thrawn to become an Admiral in the first order
Edit - I thought that was an R4 unit. I thought R3's had clear domes.
Bring back Chopper Cam!
ОтветитьOk, am I crazy, or did anybody else hear a hint of Ahsoka's theme at one point with the wolf? I swear I heard it. I SEE YOU, DAVE FILONI.
ОтветитьTwo excellent episodes!
ОтветитьOh come on dont Let Thrawn End like in Legends...
ОтветитьWhere’s Ashoka tho 😩
ОтветитьRUKH!
ОтветитьJust watched forces of destiny Wish I hadn't it's set after ROTJ and Han asks for General Sendulla Which means she survives Rebels
ОтветитьLove the Loth Wolf!! Looks amazing... Hopefully we will see more of it.
ОтветитьAnyone else get a 1989 batman feel with Jack Nicholson standing still and shooting the bat wing out of the air with a pistol and not flinching when batman strafes the ground near him, with Thrawn?
ОтветитьAnyone else get a Tag and Bink vibe?
ОтветитьRebels is my Fav show and the Lothwolf and Lothcasts are awesome. I wish for a Season 5
ОтветитьAndi stop playing with my emotions lol i love you too
ОтветитьPablo and his porg gourd 🤣
ОтветитьIs no one really talking about the return of Rook and the Noghri?? This opens so many doors from legends
ОтветитьI think the wolf is a reincarnated Asoka or Maul
ОтветитьAndi good on you for having X-Wing Miniatures models in your office!
ОтветитьTIE Defender: My new favorite ship.
ОтветитьLegends says that the two stormtroopers are still chasing the Lothcats...
ОтветитьTaylor Gray looks like Kevin Parker (Tame Impala) - they could be brothers. I dig
ОтветитьI don't understand how this is the last season and they're giving us these okay episodes. Dropping names of planets and vehicles is not enough to make a good season. They took the best part of Star Wars out of the season -- Force users. Kanan has BARELY used his lightsaber or the Force, Ezar never uses the force, and these episodes are not filler low quality but they certainly aren't LAST SEASON quality. This is exactly why I and others didn't like Rouge One. It's not the worst season but what the hell
ОтветитьThe wolves are cool and the episodes are alright but maybe for the last season of Rebels, instead of spending all that time worrying about how you interact with the fur on the wolf and constructing four hundred and sixteen controls for the fur, we could have seen Ahsoka, or Vader, or The Emperor, or ANYTHING AT ALL having to do with force users fighting other force users, Jedi, Sith, Grey Jedi etc....
ОтветитьSo happy that Vizago is back. Was underused to be honest
ОтветитьThese were two of my favorite rebels episodes. This season is sticking to a central arc, it’s darker, the crew has excellent banter and chemistry and the action is so creative and detailed. Excellent.
Ответитьsees Lothal at the beginning clip
That is NOT Lothal.
Wait, it is Lothal? For real?
WHAT HAPPENED?!
I not lové star wars Rebels us lové star wars thé clone wars
ОтветитьSTAR WARS THE CLONE WARS
ОтветитьHaha
"Java the Hutt" 😂
There was a little espresso booth called, "Java the Hutt," in Missoula Montana, like 20 years-ish ago, back when I was a kid.
(It's probably more common than I think though, really) 👍
Laughed so hard when the trooper said “Don’t let them get away!” Referring to the Lothcats…
ОтветитьYESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Loth-Wolves are Such Mystical Amazing Creatures! And The Loth-Cats Are Adorable! I Love Rebels Recon SO Much!!! I Miss It I Wish they would keep doing this for The New Shows. I LOVE THIS SHOW SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!
