DEEP EAR WAX PLUG REMOVAL - WAXVENT 15

On the Fifteenth day of Waxmas, my Audiologist gave to me,
Fifteen Comparisons to food stuff,
Fourteen Cholesteatomas,
Thirteen Times I try to peer over the wax plug,
Twelve Troopers being lovely,
Eleven Water streams a swooshin',
Ten Loose Hairs annoyin;
Nine Drums a peelin'
Eight Arnold's a coughin'
Seven Rai tools a hookin',
Six Forceps a tuggin',
Five Scoops of muck,
Four Zoellner Tubes,
Three fine ends,
Two endoscopes,
And a Q-Tip that's stuck in the ear.

So this is Waxmas
And what have we seen?
Another wax boulder
It completely fills the screen

This wax is a bung
The fine end and Zoellner 
Don't work; wax has clung

A very tricky wax mass
It's now starting to clear
A couple of skin flakes 
Pulled out of the ear 

How much gunk is in there???
Wax black and gunk white
The yellow and red blobs
It'll take us all night!

A very tricky wax block
It is holding in place
Let's hope that the Jobson 
Is up for the case

At last this is working 
It's starting to move
We've scooped out a big chunk
And left a big groove

Now look: there's a small gap
Inserter goes in
A pull and a wiggle
It's out for the win!

A very merry Waxmas 
And a shiny clean ear
That was such a hard one
Wax gone; let's now cheer

Canal is clean

So mad at my husband’s Doctor. Everyday he crams Q-tips down his ears. I tell him it’s not good for his ears. He went in for chronic cough and ask the Urgent Care Dr if his ears were OK because he uses cotton swabs. According to him “he has the cleanest ears she has ever seen” and that he should just go on doing what he is doing. He is getting deaf as a post and so how would we know if it is impacting, selective hearing (my vote) or really needing hearing aids. This is why you go to an Audiologist so you know you are getting specialist treatment. Thanks for letting me rant. ❤

Wax is better than coal - if it’s even the littlest bit sticky it’ll leave a mess! I applaud that the patient stopped using cotton buds, but isn’t that a little like an alcoholic who stops drinking after liver damage has started? It’s recoverable, but they should have known better. I could be the ear bud police 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for taking the time to post a video for us. You’re the best! ❤️👂🏻🎄
