And then Disney made a pointless series about Obi Wan coming to the realisation that Anakin was dead........

The fight was also much longer and way more brutal. In the original you could feel Anakin´s passion to kill his former master. His cry out for Obi Wan´s help could also be much deeper. Obi Wan believes in the way of the Jedi to protect life not to take it. Maybe Anakin fought for real against Obi Wan but also wanted to be killed by his master to pay for everything he has done and regretted dearly. So basically when crying out for Kenobi´s help could also mean that he wanted to be finished off instead of live a life of eternal pain, suffering and regret as a slave to the Emperor after he had failed to kill him. When Obi Wan left him instead of killing him his rage overcame him and he told him that he hates him for being to soft and too weak to finish the job and leave him behind in his misery.

What's so heartbreaking is Anakin was really good guy and wanted to be a Jedi knight so badly but Obi could no longer be there for him they genuinely loved each other
