Always loved the Triumph bikes, thanks for the lesson
Ответитьgreetings from NZ....what you have there is a '70 frame with a '71 motor , going by the rocker boxes ....have here a Triumph 650 chopper built by GME ( aka The Machine Shop) Los Angeles, in the '70s .....currently undergoing restoration
ОтветитьDUDE!!!!! Thank you! The exact video I needed. My RD350's front end was bent in the last race of last season. I've been focused on the frame and the fork tubes and I hadnt gone beyond eyballing the triples (they "looked" straight), I'm going to go measure them tomorrow!
ОтветитьAs a brit (now living in France) the old triumph is one of the most beautiful things on this planet, the sound ,her shape ,her presence on the street....well to put it in plain English.....sex on wheels 😁!.
The triumph is like good french wine ....it gets better with age 👍.
Peace out ✌️
Great info, thanks!
ОтветитьI was lucky to have found a 1969 Triumph Bobber. It hasn't been ridden in a decade so a bit of work ahead. I wish I could share a photo. Thanks
ОтветитьAny thoughts on boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits over patina. This is currently popular with some vintage car people.
