I have a Boldr Singularity. Similar concept. Have not found it hard to read and is a great conversation starter. Seems like a lot of people here saying "hard to read" or "hard to set" haven't actually rolled with a watch like this.
ОтветитьIf you are in the sun, Does it melt or catch fire?
ОтветитьLike the style and face, yet, oyster like band, Movado like case and bezel marks and Swatch like hands.
ОтветитьI believe a little shadow is better than the vanta-black, because with vanta black it will be just like and OLED screen.
ОтветитьReminds me of the old Movado
Ответить_"This watch absorbs 99.4% of light..." _
Errr... Absorbs 99.4% of light...!? That would make it almost pitch black outside with just 0.6% of light available.
So... No it doesn't. I went outside with one on during the day and I could still see perfectly well. And I didn't even need to use my torch _(Flashlight for you Yanks!)_.
Though a cloud did made the sun look a little hazy for a bit! ;-))...
the two dots on the top are stupid
ОтветитьWaste of money
ОтветитьHonestly, this watch is border line useless as a dive watch. Why add a unidirectional bezel with no minute marks on it? Why?
ОтветитьIt has dust on the inside , not nice
ОтветитьWalks into direct sunlight
Watch spontaneously ignites
I think it's disappointing that you can still see the shadow of the hands on the watch. That means there are still contracts between the pitch black of the shadow and the watch face itself, which significantly undermines the dramatic factor of the concept.
Ответитьinteresting. the only reason vanta black is so much is so expensive is because one artist bought the rights to vanta black. thus eliminating it from the general population (and this is old news). however other just as dark or darker light absorbing paints have come out and theyve just one person from buying the paint for less of a cost and that would be said artist.
ОтветитьSo fun fact: Parts of this video are physically anxiety inducing.
ОтветитьNice video! Does it pull your arm hair? Lol
ОтветитьThank you for your video. I’d love to see a follow up with a deep dive on customising this watch 🙏
ОтветитьBetter dont leave it on full sun for too long!
Ответитьventa black watch, hey lets put a glass in front so most light reflects in a goofy way off the black.
ОтветитьBro, please check if you can find merchandise or brands that have ultra black clothing like SUITS, polos, tees, shirts, pants etc etc in general but only apart from (exception being) Velvet yet similar to the intensity of blackness. Do a video on that for us curious bees. Thanks!
ОтветитьWould you consider selling this to me?
ОтветитьYeah but does it accurately tell time?
Ответитьwhen you have a reflective glass surface above the watch face, kinda defeats the purpose using that paint doe....
Ответитьare you using fish eye lens on your camera?
ОтветитьLook AMASING.
Ответитьit is just a watch with dial painted in venta black, like when you go to restaurant and they give you smth with fancy name that is just a simple dish...
Ответитьthis watch would be perfect with a hybrid variant
Ответить"Batch 2 - TBA". First batch sold-out
ОтветитьNot sure I want a watch that you can’t tell the exact time… it’s more a bracelet that gives you a rough time.
ОтветитьI thought this man had a face filter
Ответитьloooks like regulat black paint. Even has a shadow on is. SCAM
ОтветитьHah. "Only."
ОтветитьI hate these compensation lines... Yes you were compensated. 1. You established a financial relationship with the brand. 2. They provided you a $450 watch in exchange for a 13 minute video. 3. The video is itself monetized, meaning the watch provided you with content that continues to make money. We all know the score by now, so stop trying to paint it otherwise. You engaged the MARKETING department which supplied you property out of their ADVERTISING budget because, as multiple studies have shown; when a company provides review samples, the subsequent reviews are significantly higher than they otherwise would have been - as a fucking rule.
ОтветитьI have the watch you are wearing T-shirt of ❤
ОтветитьSo, this is an electronic watch? How does it get recharged? Replaceable battery?
ОтветитьIt’s so black that all you’ll ever see is dust.
ОтветитьHmmm.... That sounds cool but I have to say - you certainly would not want to wear this on your wrist since the more light it absorbs the hotter it is. So this would just result in a sunburn circle on your wrist.
ОтветитьShould’ve skipped the 200’ water proof rating and added a non-reflective coating.
ОтветитьThe watch's name is "Schwarzschild radius".
ОтветитьOnly 450? I haven't worn a watch since cellphones became a thing. So basically since the early 90's and I'm not going to wear one ever again
ОтветитьSo you buy a watch to not see the time on watch. Great!
ОтветитьI think $450 for an NH35 watch is stupid expensive. I have some Black 2.0 laying around here. Maybe I'll make my own. I guess that makes it inspirational if nothing else.... lol
ОтветитьI'm gonna call this watch: Black Beauty
ОтветитьIn photographic terms, 99.4% absorption would be a bit over 7 f-stops. Compare to a typical dynamic range of black and white film (remember film?) of 10 f-stops, which is about the same as the vanta's 99.9%. I wonder how that compares to the classic Movado black-out dial? I'll have to check the GF's Movado for hand shadows.
ОтветитьGreat video as usual. Love this watch. I love watch brands that focus on their own designs like Marloe for example. I might buy this Boldr if the budget allows 😅
ОтветитьYou did not mention the Boldr Venture Singularity which also has the same black dial. Regardless, good review!
ОтветитьThis black watch was CUT from the finest stone..To love from OK....from me 2 we. I love Buc Village $
ОтветитьCan you review more boldr pleeasee
ОтветитьI’m now wearing the Vogelkop Superb on my wrist, all thanks to you, man… A great-looking watch.
Ответитьoh gawd the specs of dust on the dial kill me...
ОтветитьKiwami black is better for a dial. It absorbs 99.9 % it is not paint, but a kind of velvet...making it for a dial would be awsome. And if you put oil in the watch it will be even .ore black and extreamly waterproof
Ответить
