How to use Scaler 2 to control other VST instruments

Is there any way to play my midi keyboard in Scaler and still be able to hear the VST? I use the KEY-LOCKS tool in Scaler a lot so I don't make mistakes and get melodies faster.

how can mute certain note on midi keyboard on Scaller 2 so just 1 or 2 first octave playing chords only? (i want muse melody section on midi )

that track you set mid from and channels to scaller 2 was kontakt right ?? Also set CTRL + ARM scaller track for activating midi keyboard input for Chords right ?

No midi " from" in logic so what do i select ? FYI the layout for logic is completely different than the daw you are usng. So not the best thing to say that it is similar in other daws, becsuse its not even close.

Or you can use "Reasons Studio Chord Player" with ANY VST instrument, I use reasons, that is 100 times easier and faster and I can play the chords in real time while recording

In the drop down below Midi from my VST is not visible. How do I fix this?

Odd, setting it up exactly like you showed in my Ableton Live 11but there is not a choice for Scaler 2 in the sub chooser window on the receiving track, just PreFX and PostFX. Only Scaler 2 shows in the main chooser window on the receiving MIDI track. Any thoughts? Thanks.
