For solo show what do you need to have a biography or a artist statement?

How many people is ideal for your first art show? Is 50 too low? Is 100 too high? And should I charge?

Have a book out and let people put their e mail or mailing address if they want to know when and where the next show will be

What about the lay out of the paintings? Do you contrast / paintings or harmonize color pieces together. Sometime the contrast catches the eyes better?

I loved it, but disagree with not closing the sale. If you don’t ask for the sale people will enjoy the art and move on. It’s like picking someone up in a bar, at some point you have to ask if they’d like to take it home. You had a nice time now close the deal

I want to hold an art show to fund my Senior Art program. I teach Students with Dementia and Alzheimer’s… I use to have access to free supplies from the Art school I worked at but n longer do Now… any suggestions? Or maybe an online art show? ❤️🤷‍♀️👩‍🎨

I’m having a pop up show tomorrow 🥰😳☺️🤪🥳🤯🙏💗so I’ve been working like a dog getting everything ready. Thank God I’m OCD so I’m pretty prepared. This is a lot of work. But in a good way. Pricing is the hardest. Then u think “what if I don’t sell anything🤯😳and then u go into a visualization that u sell Tons! It’s like a roller coaster ride. So I’m listening to this again before my show🙏😊wish me luck!😍

So I had my first exhibition this year in January and it was an open art gallery concept and it was so much fun!!
