Kid Runs Inside the Box | King's Guard Had Had Enough of Rude Tourists | Unsettling Horse in London

If you think I’m going to watch a video for nearly 1.5 hours to see some rude kids for a couple of minutes you are mistaken.

It's about time they changed and placed something over those cobblestones inside the box to stop the horses slipping! It will make it much safer! They have anti slip mats in stables!

Now I'm really against this activity. I thought they changed horses every hour. Apparently not. The horse spends one hour in the outside being annoyed by the public poking him then back to a stall for an hour only to be sent back to the outside box. A full day of this and people wonder why some of them want to bite? I don't know if someone is more concerned about tourist dollars or history but at least shorten the schedule AND extend the area between public and the horse so they will stop touching the horse and endangering the soldiers. It's not a petting zoo,!

Where was this child’s, little brats, parents, it seems they just let him do what he likes, manners and politeness don’t cost anything, so you horrible lot show a little of respect and teach your little brats to have some respect for these working soldiers who have probably just come back from some war or other and don’t need to be treated like this ever.

The biggest problem with the Brits is they allow bad, rude, disrespectful behavior by the tourists which only encourages more bad, rude disrespectful behavior. There's no mystery to it!

I'm relieved that the signs were changed to not touch the horse. I bet the horses are grateful too.

Where I live petting zoos are popular. I just wonder whenever the public sees an animal among the public that they think that's an invitation to touch them. Especially when adults encourage the child to touch the animal. Also, if you show animals at County or State Fairs and you are walking your animal from the barn to the show ring and back - you have to watch the public to make sure everyone is safe and your animal is safe. People without experience in being around animals can be problematic.

Especially since the tourists have no respect for these Soldiers who are serving their Country …
These Guards are protecting the crown jewels, royalty and aristocrats whom visit from all around the world .

The horse's are so Precious and Adorable and I really don't like how the people really like to make the horses agitated I still think they need to have a police person or even a guard with the guards on the horses to keep the tourist in line

I really question why the police don’t control the crowds better? They seem to like standing around talking to each other? Why are they not on the sidewalk and some inside the court yard? Is that not part of their jobs.? People just seem to stand around hoping something will happen. Keep the crowd moving.

The second slap shall inform the horse about a displacement of weight? Sorry but that's a lovely romantic fairy-tale for tourists, in my opinion. Why? To this some questions first: do you believe that it would be possible to ride a horse, as we see it at horse guards, if the horses have to be warned about every displacement of weight during riding? Do we see the horses batting any eyelid when the troopers dismount? Why is only one horse warned, how do the others know the moment of dismount?
My answer: if a horse is as sensible about weight displacement, it is hardly to ride, because riding includes a permanent (less or more) weight displacement; one had to warn the horse the whole time while riding.
The trooper stands a few seconds on one stirrup before slapping; the horse would then be warned a f t e r the displacement - that makes no sense. Therefore the slapping must have another reason. So when I reflect a bit and querry me what a military unit makes function properly, I think of drill, orders and obedience, signals, signs, flags and gestures. An order must be given clearly so that it can be understood and executed correctly - by e v e r y soldier. In our case one trooper has to to ride a bit foreward, so he is exponated and visible for all. Then he shows what to do next: the retained reins as preparation for dismount. By the order "dismount" they stand on one stirrup waiting for the signal to execute the order. This signal must make the exposed trooper. So he extends his arm (not for the horses, this is not of interest for them, except the stable and hay) which means "look out" ,immediately follows the slap, the last signal of the order "dismount". Actual the trooper shall slap ideally on the leather of the saddle so it makes a smacking sound which also can be heard from those soldiers who cannot see the one ahead the line.
Isn't this a pretty plausible explanation?

Poor horse is obviously in distress !! Look at the idiots just hoping he will bolt! Trooper doing excellent job controlling him!! He is allowing horse a bit of leeway! I guess it takes time for the horses to get used to the noise and small area they have to stand in !

I don’t like the people putting their hands in the mouth, noise, head of the horses. They are strangers to them. Just put your hands on your own face and mouth, head rubbing all the time. The horse and Guards are working, leave them alone.

what is wrong with these braindead tourists? they think these guards are there for their amusement, THERE NOT! they are doing a job, THEY ARE GUARDING, wonder if they would be ok if someone came to their job and starting to interfere with their jobs, i dont think they would be ok with that. it would be the same in every other country, TRY A LITTLE RESPECT FOR OTHER PEOPLE!

It's the bit in his mouth ,,keeps twisting on the right side ,,guard assistant came out fixed it and the horse twisted it again before the assistant left but he didn't notice !!!!

It's about time they do something to protect the guards.

They should put the swing gets across the arches so it's a proper barrier but easy for the kings guards to push open to go through etc. the Cain where it's placed is good but the barrier I mean is for the arches next to the little shop.
