ОтветитьAn Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake bit my Mother in Law. -- Poor snake convulsed for 15 minutes before it died. My Mother in Law didn't notice the bite. Sometimes I feel guilty for putting that snake in her pillow case.

ОтветитьI live in NE Alabama and I live up against the foot of a mountain with a creek and mini waterfalls so there are Timber Rattlesnakes or Canebrakes al over my property and several of them are pretty dark... especially the larger ones I've noticed... but I have never seen one this dark. Not even close! What an excellent find! 👏

ОтветитьI’ve seen a couple of black Timbers, although one was closer to very dark brown. The black one was far more aggressive than just about any rattler I’ve ever seen. He did not try to escape, he went straight to strike pose.
