A pile of dishes around a sink in the center island..I hope she's OCD about doing dirty dishes...who's going to climb up a full size ladder for storage in those upper cabinets.. wow I hope their kids are super tall for those cubbies..in the mudroom. Bad lay out...BIG pantry instead of laundry. Move laundry UPSTAIRS (SIX KIDS,)..... Builder's grade GRAY..dates it just like harvest gold and avocado green. Stay away from trendy colors.. Boring colors and decor..so mundane... Christina needs to learn practicality !!!, love for color, and tighter budgets..

I don’t like the way HGTV portrays Christina with her outfits—very short skirts with boots above knee and cleavage sticking out in her other videos. No need to portray her this way HGTV! Sad 😞

Wasn’t the point missed, a family of 6, only sitting for 4, at both places, why spit up the family, at least a table for 6, wasted money for sure

I would have made the mud room a huge walk in pantry and moved the laundry room upstairs -

The other kitchen could have been repurposed, paint the cupboards, new white countertops, change the handles.
Rework the cupboard and laundry room (remove sink, add storage)
It would have cost half the price, especially for a young family, kids are messy.

Way too many handles, the top cupboards could have done without the long handles. Not a fan of so much white...it lacks personality.
Not a fan of the backsplash either.

Christina is not thinking about function. White grout is a big NO for me. (Then again, a white backsplash in a white kitchen is too much white for my taste.) Same with any open-ended drawer or cabinet pulls. I'm glad they chose the closed ones. Plus, all those things covering up that beautiful countertop gives it a cluttered look in the end. That sink is very cool, though.

It always amazes me how much kitchens cost in the USA. $100k = £79,130. It would be hard to spend £40k on a quality kitchen in the UK (my relatives have just had theirs done, so I am aware).

100k is too much for this size kitchen without taking down any walls
