The audio vanishes as you start with the masquerades and doesn't come back :(
ОтветитьThis sounds like fun....but exhausting ❤
Ответить:( the sound goes out at the end
ОтветитьAnyone else lose the audio at the masquerades part?
ОтветитьWhat happened to the sound?
Ответить"Creepy guys" were known as "rakes" or "rakehells" depending on their level of debauchery.
ОтветитьThe “18th CENTURY” actually refers to the dates 1700 - 1799. The 19th Century would be dates spanning the 1800s; the 20th Century are the 1900s, etc., etc.
ОтветитьI mean… all of this sounds kinda familiar though? Like, aren’t we still kinda doing all that? Minus the opera unfortunately cause that’s kinda the most fun part of it tbh
ОтветитьImagine being neurodivergent and upper class! The constant overstimulation 😭
ОтветитьInteresting that the Dark Walk in Bridgeton was based on historical fact.
ОтветитьYou had me at “I don’t watch Brigerton” ❤❤
ОтветитьWhen haruhi from Ouran highschool host club said “damn rich people” I felt that
ОтветитьPity the Masquerade bit of this video is mute. I'd really love to hear about it.
ОтветитьHello, the subtitles are mismatch starting from the sponsored section.
Ответитьthe sound cuts off during the custome ball section till the end. is it just me?
ОтветитьAs a child I used to dream of being a Georgian or Victorian lady during the season. Wearing pretty dresses, going to balls, parties and plays sounded so fun! Now that I'm an adult....the thought of socialising endlessly and making small talk, all while my elders anxiously contrive to find me a husband in the two or so social seasons before I'm on the shelf. It sounds like a waking nightmare.
ОтветитьTaking too long
ОтветитьOn a rewatch I was thinking how incredibly annoying the amount of crowd noise at the theatre/opera would be for the common folk there. Like you've scrimped and saved for tickets to go and see a big fancy performance, and some minor lord, who's seen this show 5 times already, is loudly talking over the climactic scene because his mate just arrived. I'd be so pissed lol
ОтветитьI thought the season started when parliament reconvened after Christmas?
ОтветитьDid the sound just drop out?
ОтветитьDoes the sound cut out in Masquerades vs Costume Balls section for anyone else?
ОтветитьWatching 2 years later, and the sound cuts out right after before the masquerade section 😢
ОтветитьBridgestone is NOT an accurate representation of the Tonne high society Season in the 180s. It is a fantasy romance.
ОтветитьDo women repeat their gowns?
ОтветитьGoing to theater and opera sounds like the same kind of vibe of going to the movies - but it's all movies every one has seen so they're just talking through it. 😄
ОтветитьI enjoy Bridgerton but it is NOT historically accurate at all.
ОтветитьAnyone else lose audio from the Masquerade v. Costume Ball section to the end? How am I ever going to know the difference? 😂
ОтветитьI know this video is 2 years old, but the audio cuts out when you start talking about Masquerades.
There was a time when I read historical romances and a fav era a lot of writers seem to cover was this time period. So pretty much everything you mentioned gets mentioned in stories that take place in London during the "Marriage Season".
As curious as I am about this time period, I personally wouldn't want to live in it because of all that socializing lol. I do have ancestors that were British Nobility at one point so I do wonder what it was like for them.
Is anyone else having an issue with the video going silent a little bit into Masquerades and Costume Balls?
ОтветитьAnyone else have the audio cut out at costume balls?
Ответитьdid the sound cut out for anyone else near the end
ОтветитьBRidgerton is a fantasy series. Take it as it is and enjoy.
ОтветитьWhat does it mean to be “accomplished “
When do they change clothes? Do they change clothing?
Bridgerton sucks ass
ОтветитьThe audio cuts out at 17 mins into the video 😮😢
ОтветитьAs the mother of a 17 year old beauty, I’m so glad she manages her own social life and I don’t have to shepherd her about to a million parties! That sounds so exhausting.
ОтветитьSounds like Cochella and the Met Gala rolled into one big long event. Somethings don't change.
ОтветитьThank you for making me feel better about not liking bridgerton. I don’t understand the appeal
ОтветитьThis sounds exhausting 😮
ОтветитьVauxhall pleasure Gardens still exist. They have recently started doing a victorian weekend, where they bring back the way it was. Theatres, Restaurants, Games, circus actors, Poets.
