My Davinci Resolve Color Grading Process - Simple & Effective!

why do I need to do the colorgrading in different layers? Coudn't I just do it all in one layer? Thank you so much, I still know nothing about colorgrading

Hi, I was watching Your Colour Tutorial to edit my videos from the gym. So I shot them in Gamut Cine and in S log 2 on my Sony a7III but when I Imported them to Davinci and put Color transform on them to Slog2 and Gamut Cine, my video transform to massivly exposed and Over Saturated. On Your Video when you changed that it took Your Video to kind of not colored at all. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, If you could help, please ;)

Awesome tutorial! Quick question, why put the CST in that specific place and not at the beginning or all the way at the end? Or is it just a preference where you put it?

Maybe a brief explanation why you would do white balance and white/black point before the transform would be nice too. (and same for why color grading after the transform)
