It's all men, and they don't do BOTH sets...the step breathing that is inhaling at 1/4 breaths until your lungs are full, hold 2 seconds and out for a count of 6...? Not, just the breath, hold, release, hold. I would benefi😢 greatly from breathing exercises and maybe others❣️

ОтветитьI’m going to use this like a journal of my thoughts throughout this meditation.
By choosing this meditation in the first place, I was already aware that this is an area I need to focus on for myself. I chose this meditation because a theme that has come up for me in my life currently is that I am caught in a cycle of passiveness and procrastination. I feel I am not in control of my own life and as though I am incapable of making decisions and taking action for myself. I have accepted a belief that I am just someone who doesn’t work the same way as other people and I am naturally unsure and that I’m unable to take the lead. I have focused on what I know which has been surrounding myself with comfort and thinking focusing on the beautiful parts of life is what would bring me joy. But this means I have blocked out reality and I am starting to realise that embracing reality into my life is very important for finding the balance.
When trusting yourself was mentioned at the start of the meditation I thought about how I’d talked through how I feel with my boyfriend last night and he told me he believes and trusts in my journey. I thought if he believes in that, I can also believe in myself the same way he does. This drove me to feel the belief and confidence with in myself during this meditation.
As Sarah was counting down for the decent of the stairs, I was thinking about how I have been fed the message that I’m incapable and never told to believe in myself as I’ve grown up and as Sarah described pushing through the door, I truly felt an understanding that my strength is there and it is possible for me to achieve anything and I felt a release of sadness from how I’ve been discouraged to a point where I live my life thinking I’m unable to do more. This release came out in crying.
As I breathed in deeply I could truly feel a shift and belief in myself after having this realisation and release. I think what I’m realising now is that I feel that belief in myself very briefly and then go back to my old habits because I don’t believe I can be consistent or in control still.
I said to myself “I can” “I am capable” “there is no reason why I can’t” . I am left understanding the root of this issue in my life more, I have lacked encouragement, and I am able to give myself that encouragement.
