Apple vision pro already does all of these things and certainly better. I spent 4.5 hours working on a double wide 4k monitor yesterday on my avp.

I don't really notice the difference in field of view between my PSVR2 and my Quest 3 and I hear the PSVR2 has a wider FOV. I mean I am sure I would notice double though lol. Sometimes I notice the goggle effect but so do I on my PSVR2.

I think instead of higher fov we focus on better eye tracking and AI coupled with cheaper OLED lenses. OLED I would think has a higher fov or “sweet spot” than pancake lenses and with better eye tracking we could make a dynamic pseudo eye tracking with it a bloom effect from wherever the center of your pupil is that moves as the pupil moves

I would be happy with 130 FOV, as it would look way better and still be possible to run it on today's Hardware, especially with eye tracking.
