I remember being excited to see the Green Lantern Corps and Hal's training. And then this is what we got. Disappointment.

So green lantern could just imagine an army of infinite soilders and take over the world.. he could just make a planet and throw it at other planets... green lantern is the seems so OP why do the people who get the ring have so little imagination?

I don't know why Green Lantern didn't do so well, the common things I heard is that because they picked Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, or maybe something else that I don't see, but whatever it is I think the Green Lantern movie is a great DC Movie.

The thing that baffles me the most was that the training sequence was NOT done as a montage, but was edited to take place in real time. So Hal LITERALLY only trains on Oa for about five minutes before deciding to quit. The editing in this movie was honestly the thing that hurt it the most

I hope Reynolds would be open to reprising the Hal Jordan role to be a villain have him properly killed off.

In my honest opinion Sinestro should have been the main villain of this film. They already established how him and Hal disliked each other from the start and they really could have built upon that rivalry. Wasted opportunity.

People love to say this movie sucked but here we are 45 million views later...... this was a good movie, not great, not badbut good. Had they done a different direction, a part 2 would have been cool to see

I still really do like this movie, Wish there were more Green lantern stuff on live action. everyone seems to hate Green lantern.

If the Cgi here in 2009 was average , fast forward to 2025 with The show lanterns how advanced The CGI would look , especially the Costructs !!

The special effects were insane, in case they felt they had to copy Marvel and do the shared universe and not continue to make only separate unique films not in the same universe, then it would have been cool if they started from here to then make Flash, with another actor obviously, Nolan's dark knight was already there, Cavill's man of steel....it would have been an exceptional Justice League, which would have given us a magnificent universe on par with Marvel.
