The African Cup of Nations is currently underway in the Ivory Coast. Amidst the celebrations and friendly competition, there has been a lot of talk about Sarjo Baldeh, the youngest official photographer whose gorgeous and topnotch work has captured the action stunningly. You guessed it, Sarjo is a Starfish alum and when she said, "I cannot tell my story without Starfish being a part of it. That is where my skills started", we thought it would be best to have her lead the way in sharing that part of her story, in her own words, especially as Starfish celebrates 15 years of producing a critical mass of changemakers and servant leaders.

Sarjo is a shining star. Her journey from mentee to a brilliant force in photography is truly inspiring. Watching Sarjo do great things in photography is truly an honor for us and we are all so proud of her. Her journey is a testament to the transformative power of mentorship and the work of Starfish International in general.
