I'm really not typically a mini console guy but how do the button's feel compared to the original? Also do you think that it having a d pad compared to the originals directional stick will really matter as I view this more as a novelty. Still cool though don't get me wrong this cabinet was innovation for the time as it had a unique look. Hopefully it will be enjoyable. Cabinets are something that I want to have some of in the future, but are a relatively big investment for me and I also really have no place to put any. Anyways enjoy and I'm not trying to be a bummer

ooooDark Edge. I remember trying to play that in an arcade called Aladdin's Castle here. I sucked so bad. A girl I met there kicked my ass playing most of the afternoon. Worked out well though We hooked up for a couple weeks. Fond memories because of that.

The Revenge of Death Adder (Golden Axe III) was actually released on Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection on PS3/360 as well as before on PS2 Ultimate Genesis Collection. However it never received a cartridge release outside of Asia on Mega Drive

The Astrocade screen is just way too small for me to enjoy, I've never been a fan of portable gaming until the huge screen of the Switch. I'm a huge console gamer & mostly Jrpgs 🙂

Just got mine in the mail today. So far I'm really liking it. Some thoughts:
-The joystick is nice and snappy with a square gate.
-The buttons have a little resistance to them (not feather touch like I prefer) but they have a very smooth travel and return.
-You can definitely hear the clicking of the micro switches in both the stick and buttons.
-The Coin & Start buttons are depression metal contacts which have a nice firm snap to them.
-I haven't tried hooking this up to a TV yet but I'm very impressed by the built in screen clarity.
-The base has more weight than I thought it would but not quite enough to keep the cabinet from moving when playing (at least for me).

As a collector I'm happy with the purchase but I'm probably going to get the extra arcade stick or control pads for more comfortable play.

I take it no international release as amazon Europe doubled the price, its crazy. 299 euros for the stick.

I bought the complete set, the mini unit, extra controller, arcade stick and the little piggy bank riser with the little stool. It’s pretty neat.

This one is pretty cool, I’m not a huge gamer. But I love some old school arcade games and old Nintendo and SEGA. And I’m a frequent on a boxing app game. I really enjoy the arcade style of it with buttons and joystick and you have a selection of different games too. I would definitely use this!

That is pretty cool. Even if I don't play it often if I leave that on the table it would be a conversation piece when people come over.
