I'M ON A NO BUY 2018 ~ Starting a Year-Long Beauty No Buy

Im on a no buy too. Any beauty, shower products etc. I have enough to last me a few years! Im trying to pay of debts and save for a mortgage and wedding so its my goal.
Ideally no buy for any material items. I have too much stuff!! Xx

I'm doing the same thing. I am using up all my skincare, deluxe sample sizes of skin care, makeup. Not buying any make up unless I run out of something, which I won't, except maybe skincare, like eye cream, or a moisturizer with sunscreen, but I really want to save money and use it on an experience, like a trip...create memories, not just collect palettes, that I will never use in my life time.

I’m on a low buy! Currently on a no buy for January and it’s going well! I hope to go longer than just this month tho. Good luck!

congrats girl! I'm currently on a no buy for 3 months. I'm not watching hauls and doing the 1 in 1 out rule.

I’m also on a makeup no buy this year. My problem is that I tend to just replace makeup with other things. In the past, I’ve gone overboard with buying perfume, nail polish, lotions, and skincare. I really need to get a grip on retail therapy in general!

Hey, Megan! I've been a fan of your channel for a while. I did a makeup no-buy last year and it went really well! I did a 6 month update and year end update video with advice and what I learned/ how it's helped me. Just know if gets so so much easier a couple months in, and the rest of the year will go faster than you think. Good luck!! :)

My word for 2018 is simplicity. I'll buy things when I run out, but enjoy what I have. My makeup and skincare collection is pretty small now and I want to keep it that way! Target is my Achilles heel, too, but I've reigned myself in majorly. I'm excited to cheer you on, I know you can do it!

On a no buy!!! Only buying stuff once it's needed, like shampoo, etc.... I posted my makeup,inventory on IG, and I DEFINATELY DO NOT need any more makeup

I'm on a strict no buy, with the exception of foundation and mascara when I run out. And I will also allow myself to buy my skincare for the November Sephora sale, as I usually buy what I need for the year during the sale. Good luck girl! Can't wait to see your updates!

Everything you said is so true. I am on a no buy and after shopping for Christmas for my family, I do not want to so I plan to continue from my idea of 3 month no buy to a no buy til September...when I start Christmas shopping again. I am trying to instill it in my children too for the past four years I have asked for no presents for my birthday but presence so we do activities together as a family instead and I love it so much more than anything that can be bought.

My goals are to only to shop the ulta 21 days of beauty with a small amount to spend even if I want anything. But pretty much the whole year as well. I'm feel the same way, I rather spend my money on experiences!

So good to hear that things are moving forward ! Although I do have to admit I am a bit jealous of you age... I turned 41 last december :P But seriously you have been such an inspiration to me over tha past years that I can only thank you for each and every video you made. And you can totally do your nobuy for a year. I am on a 6 month nobuy till june. Panning videos and groups have certainly helped in that goal to shop less. So good luck to you for all your plans in 2018 and I hope that many of your wishes come true.

I have decided to do this for all areas....make up....stationary....clothes....have way too much and really should stop spending......good to h ave someone to check with :-)

You can do it! I’m on a low buy too this year. Only to replace things when i run out, since i only have one foundation, concealer, mascara, etc. But I definitely don’t need more color products - I already feel like I have more than I will ever go through and am using things to see what i might actually declutter if I don’t like or use it. We can do it?!

New sub. I'm new to panning and I'm on my first low buy. You are so relatable! I absolutely cannot buy eyeshadow palettes or foundation! Those are my weakness!

I wasn't originally planning on going on a no buy but I've been thinking about it since you posted this video and now I think that I might! Won't be for the full year (right now i'm thinking maybe around 6 months - november vib sale). I've been feeling like I just have too much stuff and would really like to finish some stuff off before adding anything new in, online shopping will be my biggest hurdle but really there's only so much stuff a person can use before things will just get neglected and go bad
