My neice makes this for our holiday picnic parties and it's so delicious. She can't make enough! She does make it in a large crock pot.

Queso Fresco is usually used as a topping. I can't think of where we would use it cooked. Btw, I'm about to go eat some homemade chilaquiles (which I did not make myself) and top them with Queso Fresco.🤤
