It's more like living down to other people's standards, cuz they assume we're as incapable as they are, so they unknowingly hold us back. It's easier to make a quiet exit than hurt their feelings and make them feel inadequate, when in fact we're kinda sad about having to leave them behind, but it is what it is, we can't haul people down our path with us, cus they're either meant to be on the same path so their path aligns with ours for a moment in time or they're not and our paths lead us in separate directions. It when people refuse to let us go that things get ugly. I keep hoping to make departures beautiful and it's like they see it as an invitation to come back, and I'm like "No, it's just a beautiful goodbye. Appreciate it and depart. It's not an invitation to bring your chaos back into my life." Haha, I do understand why feelings are hurt, however, they're only concerned about their own feelings, or things would have gone differently, is the bottom line, so I'm not obligated to feed their illusions. It sounds cold, but I'm not even trying to feed my own illusions, so why would I do that for someone else?

I love the video. I have all these traits & appreciate their presentations in this video. I especially enjoyed the segment on Sigma's charm. I had never fully appreciated or recognized this trait until someone told me about it. I had a mentor in the past who recognized it in me. On one occasion she said to me., " Well, use your charm. You can be very charming". (this was said to help me solve some kind of a problem...I've forgotten what it was). I smiled & said, why yes! I do use charm intermittently depending on the situation.
