Been sniping in battlefields since modern combat on Xbox360... this game is seriously by far the hardest game to snipe..

Curious why you didn’t mention the spotting scope. It seems to put a red 3D marker on players

They made the health that way for snipers

I don’t mind it that way not everyone likes running around with a sniper

I agree totally with the health side or by taking medic supply rather than ammo when killing a medic enemy. To me a medic is a important player in helping the squad carrying on. Very good points to your video. Hopefully tweaks made in future. Good luck

If they're removing the sweetspot, then at least remove the flare from the scope when you're aiming. They're nerfing the sniping way too much to be honest.

Shame that PTFO snipers like me from BF1 are almost punished now.!

Sniping was so cool in bf1.. smle marksman3 was my fav (and the default) sniper and i owned with it. Longrange and shortrange, no problem. I mis the sweetspot. Sniping sucks in bf5. Imma swich to medic again... havent played medic since bf4

I think that the health regen is great now with you only getting to 42 or less after multiple skirmishes. However, I do think that when you pick up ammo off a dead body, you should also get a little bit of health. like maybe 10 health or something like that. Just a little so if you go on a spree, you could theoretically get your health back.

Sweet spot? You mean bulletdrop? Did they get rid of bullet drop? They better fucking not have!

Kinda dont like the ammo in here. Its annoying running out of ammo or having a support player tag along with u for ammo. Also i hate the health just wish it was a tiny bit faster or healed u to full health. I also wish u wouldnt have to be so aggressive with snipers.

As a main medic I disagree on the health regen. Now people have a reason to revive a medic. Not that they do, but still... :P

Literally everything he says about not liking it is basically why people bash cod. Snipers aren’t designed to run and gun. Sniping is supposed to be difficult so not having a Dorito over someone’s head and aiming at it for a headshot is a good thing. Any natural BF sniper won’t need that red dorito to begin with.

I disagree with the health regen. I think it puts more pressure on you by forcing you to interact with other players and roam around the map knowing that one bullet could kill you but then again you may survive.

Not really I disagree the bullet speed is different and the sniping is fucking shit.

THE SWEET SPOT MECHANIC WAS NOT RANDOM!!!!!
I am sick of hearing that argument JUST SAY YOU DIDN'T LIKE IT.
It was a mechanic like headshot is a mechanic, you would pick the gun BEST suited for the position you wanted to enter. I had 3, one for each different range I was looking to engage at and I stuck to those ranges.
It was anything BUT random, just assume the other snipers will one shot you, and one shot them first.

Worst thing about BF5 is that the medics only have SMG. I loved in BF1 having hard hitting carbines instead of smgs

Game shouldnt have health regen, battlefield has always been a more realistic shooter, albeit its still a game but you come back from the dead anyway. Shouldnt have on screen reticule either...if you want crosshairs - aim down your scope or along the iron sight.

You talked about snipers not being able to stay hidden and “ camping “ because of the glare but isn’t that like... what snipers do ? Hide and shoot being unseen ?

How do I know how long a snipe is

Nice video man! One question, if you hit someone for 60 (since they cannot regen), if they lose those 40 remaining hp after a minute or 2, do you still get the assist counts as a kill?

Bruh you make it look sooo easy getting those headshots whereas I have a 0.10% of ever landing them, and 0.01% when they’re moving. Any tips?

Also thanks to Dice's decision to not allow kit swapping I can be a sniper with a KE7 and put down a spawn beacon.

I played hardcore mainly so the health thing is not a problem for me.

I was so dumb when I started playing bf3 I thought the scope glint was stupid players with a flashlight on their rifle.
