Love the Motoz Adventure rear and the dual venture on front !! Appreciate all the video and the information Kyle!! GodBless you and the family!!
ОтветитьAre any ADV tire makers using graphene yet in their compounds?
ОтветитьNo I have not tried that yet but I have a new set ready for next season. Glad to hear there is no noticeable difference on the road! Tx!!
ОтветитьHi Kyle, I want winter tires (mainly mud) for my Tenere 700. I want a Rall Z or Desert HT. I'm asking for a recommendation. Thanks Kyle and have fun.
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьI'll be hitting you up for a set of Rallyz this week!
ОтветитьDuel Venture front 1 rotation at 7,500 miles and got 15,000 miles total. Still lots of life.
Rallyz rear 7,500 no BS.
BMW F 850 GS Motoz FTW.
Here in India's Northeast my problem is mud and red clay how are these tires for those conditions
ОтветитьIf you want to impress me, stop cutting other people off at the knees to make yourself look tall. I’m not even watching the rest of your video. The tires you are slamming are good proven tires all over the world. Tell us why yours are better. Don’t tell us that world, proven tires with literally millions of kilometres are garbage, really disappointed in you man Good luck. When you said that to me, you look like a shill. If your sponsors are watching, you had a chance to steal me but now no deal not interested in your product. This guy should not be your front man.
ОтветитьMan I am struggling with decisions on what to run for my 10k mile two up offroading/cross continent trip. I have tried dunlops missions they were good but left alot to be desired with two up hill climbs. I tried the raids and they were better but laughably bad mileage. I tried the Shinko big blocks and surprisingly very very good but the lugs were cracking and splitting at 3k miles.
Help me oh tire wizard of California what tires should I run for a two up fully loaded africa twin adventure sports for 10000 miles with about 2k miles being fast pace hard pack dirt and rocky dirt?
Kyle thanks and Happy Holidays. About to tire my BMW R9T UGS. I'm going to run a lot of highway going to hard pack gravel and dirt roads. No, I'm not a dirt bike rider with this machine. I live in east Kentucky and have a world of twin track gravel and dirt mountain roads. My trips this year will be Labrador and to the Rockies to ride some passes and about the Craig, Biggs, WY east to Mt. Hahn and Steam boat area. Lot of good roads like from Somerset to Montrose those types. I lived and worked the state checking mines so very familiar. I was thinking of using the Dual Adventure front and the Tractionator GPS rear. What are you thoughts? I really appreciate your work and channel. And thanks for the answers.
ОтветитьHey Kyle, I recently mounted a set of GPS front and rears to my ‘23 GSA. I’m running the rear in the mostly road orientation. Tires are aired up to factory pressures.
Ive noticed a slight wobble in the front tire and goes away before a 1-2 shift. My assumption is that the tire is new and biting on alternating edges, but I’m wondering if you’ve heard of this during break in?
I’ve also noticed a bit of bounce on poor quality pavement around 70-80 that makes the bike feel a little unstable. I tend to keep the bike in dynamic for better feel and suspension set to auto.
Any input would be much appreciated!
@manybikes
Advice needed - what’s the most optimal combo for the old PD06 Transalp? I’m thinking about dual venture front tyre and adventure for the rear. My concern is if it’s not too much of a compromise on tarmac, especially wet tarmac.
ОтветитьKyle, I can’t thank you enough for this cogent breakdown of the Motoz line.
Question: I’d like to get Rallz for the rear of my 1300 GS because I’m going going to be in some Sandy roads in Arizona this spring and I’m concerned about the Dunlop Trailmax missions back there. I’m concerned, though about the reported squirrelyness of the front Rallz tire on paved roads. Would it be OK to run the Motoz adventure tire upfront with the rally in the rear or do you think I need the rally for the front to keep me happy in the sand on that big bike?
Appreciate all that you do for us. Happy new year.
Wow! Thank you for this!
ОтветитьMotoz Rallz or tractionator on the rear every time. Stay away from the front tyres, twice I’ve had a front lose the bead in The middle of nowhere. Motoz rear, Dunlop front = win. Ktm 1090 advr
ОтветитьThank you so much for your precision in describing those huge tyres.
Got the adventure setup on my Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro equipped with Touratech suspension and shorter transmission and they perform perfect on and off. What i didn't knew was to flip the front one. I'm on 2500 kilometres now and will flip it these days, as you recommend.
Saludos from the canary islands!
Just picked up my third set of s/t tires from you, this time to put on my new beta 500rs 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙 I'm addicted to this tire ngl
ОтветитьI had the tractionator gps and overall it was a good tire. They vibrated / rumbled under 30 mph. So much so I thought something was wrong with my bike. It got better after after a 1000 miles but never went away. The center strip on the rear helps it last a long time but taking off from a stop on wet concrete streets was a little sketchy. The tail end would kick out about 6 inches unless I really babied the throttle.
ОтветитьHow do Americans get less than 2000 miles out of a tyre? I've seen vid's where (an American) had a Mitas E-07+ need to be changed at 4000, yet a Pom (or should I say English Man) did his last 1000 mile tread depth test at 11.000 miles, and he was getting 0.25mm or 0.010" (10 thou) of wear every 1000miles on the front, and 0.5mm each time on the rear (about 20 thousandths of an inch)
I haven't worn out My Mitas E-07 yet (a plus and an enduro) but expect I may want to consider swapping them out at 15000km.
but would I use Motoz? after feeling a very rapid and unexpected traction break... Never again will I ever ride on them. that could have ended up as either a low side or a high side... only luck saved it from being either... It may be Dunlops old saying, But I will "stick with" Mitas
OUTSTANDING!!!!! Thank you!!!
ОтветитьGreat ADV tire breakdown.
Could you do exact same thing for Dual Sport MotoZ tires?
Hi Kyle, what would you recommend for my XR650l for Arizona desert and road riding? Thank you sir
ОтветитьGreat channel, thanks. Regarding the dual venture front tyre, what happens in terms of wear and longevity if you don’t bother flipping it?
ОтветитьHey when you mention the mileage you got of a tire could please also mention on which motorcycle they were fitted?
Thanks for the review :)
Hey Kyle, I do a lot of canyon carving but still want a good off road tire. Will the Adventure tire still have good adhesion on the canyon roads. Currently my AX41 gives me pretty good adhesion but like you know they wear out fast. I'm always looking for the best dual purpose tire.
ОтветитьGreat Video!
Looking through the different Motoz options for my bike it’s a little confusing, I don’t see a lot of options for the Suzuki DR650.
I don’t ride to aggressively on road and looking for good stability and traction on road and better traction and stability off-road riding, gravel roads, BDR and moto-camping.With what Motoz makes what would you recommend?
I would prioritize performance over lifespan .
the Rallz in the 130 width is super sick! much more aggressive that the bigger widths.
ОтветитьI have a set of the Adventure's on my T7, great offroad and for dry road riding, terrible for wet road riding, and extremely noisy on the road too, l've put about 6 K kilometers on them, 50 / 50 mix of on and offroad use, tend to ride quite hard on fire road and alot of stoney mountain trails here in Southern Spain, need to change the rear now, for the howling road noise and really poor wet road grip think l'll try something else
ОтветитьGreat information. One thing, there is speed limits on highways in Mexico.
ОтветитьDrew Cary rides? Who knew..
ОтветитьLove the Adventure 150 rear on my tubed wheel 2024 Honda Transalp on and off road.
At least front tires are not as tough to change and flip on the wheel.
I'm thinking the Adventure rear and a Mitas XT+ fatty front will be a good combo!
ОтветитьHello ... I am very interested in Motoz Adventure tires but many people say the tire is a disaster on wet tarmak. Is that correct? Thank you for a short info! With kind regards! Eduard
ОтветитьHello, thank you for your very interesting video on these MOTOZ tires, can you tell me if these models are compatible with a BMW GS 1300 ..? thank you very much 😉
ОтветитьIn Colombia they call them Moto Zeta tires.
ОтветитьOn Greece are expensive. Seems to be a good tyre
ОтветитьSuper helpful. Thanks.
ОтветитьHi Kyle; another great video! Quick question for you: is it advisable to put a dual venture tire on the front with a GPS rear tire or should I stick with the GPS for the front as well? The GPS front tire just doesn't look aggressive enough to me for BDR-type off-payment riding. Thanks for your advise and please keep up the good work for us!!
ОтветитьCrap way too expensive for the uk
ОтветитьI have a Tuareg with the stock Pirelli STR. They are really good and quiet on the road. I really want a better off road tire, but I really don’t see myself doing anything crazy off road on this bike. I have a Husky 300 for that. I want a more aggressive set up, but I still want the on road to not be annoyingly loud. How is the GPS tire in comparison to my Pirelli both on and off road? Or even the Adventure/Dual Venture compared to my Pirelli? I realize the traction off road with the Adventure set up will not be a comparison, so really asking about on road difference.

ОтветитьHard to justify the high price with the new Tusk 2 Tracks. I can get a new front and rear for less than the cost of a Motoz rear.
ОтветитьWhere do the Hybrids (Mountain & Xtreme) fit into this?
ОтветитьWhat would be the best ones and sizes for my honda crf300l
ОтветитьBridgestone AX41 or Motoz tractionators for a Norden 901 ridden 50/50?
ОтветитьIn cold weather and wet road Motoz are dangerous.
ОтветитьI had my Dual Venture for about 9,500 mi on my Aprilia Tuareg with no flipping it, great wear & durability. However, I found it was wobbly on the highway, 75-85mph especially. Living in AZ & now UT I’ve found on heavier bikes is tends to push in corners in off-road situations, especially the loose dirt or sand & I tried different tirr pressure but no success. I just swapped it out last week for a
Desert H/T & I already love it much more than the DV, HANDS DOWN! Not as loud as the DV on pavement & more stable, also much more traction offroad, especially the side bite. I also have a Rallyz on the rear & still holding up fine, I may go with the Desert H/T’s when it comes time to change out the rear. Love your vids Kyle, they’ve helped me so much with my research. Keep it up brother!
Hello, thank you for this great review. I have already bought and tested the Motoz Adventure. They are great. As you said, they hold incredibly well on the road and on my bike they are not noisy at all, it starts to get a little noise around 7000km in the tunnels, but I have never turned the front tire. I have done 10000km with the front tire and the rear tire I can still do 2 or 3000km I think. I wanted to buy the same ones in my region in Switzerland and I can only find 140/80 18. What do you think? And will it change the feeling of the bike a lot? I have a light bike "Aprilia Tuareg" what changes in performance on road and off-road? If people have already made this change, I would be happy to have your feedback as well. :) Thank you for your answers
ОтветитьHi Kyle, the size lineup for Tractionator Adventure doesn't fit the OEM size for my bike (Himalayan 450 140/80R17). Would the 130/80R17 work ok in my situation?
