I think the whole road condition issue is something that isn't really pressed enough, here in the UK. Why are our roads so terrible compared to other European countries?? Makes no sense.

You have “bought” a 60 grand (list price plus interest) performance car but I bet you have barely even scratched the surface with it yet. A 400bhp 5-cylinder pocket rocket, 0-60 in under 4 seconds and you are more interested in mpg figures?! Get that thing to the German autobahns, where it belongs!!
I live in Germany and regularly max out my Golf R on the autobahn. That’s more fun than mpg. Isn’t that the whole point of buying performance cars?

I get 35+mpg on long motorway drives in my M135i which means that I just barely get 400miles from a full tank.
