In France I played a “Flight” tournament in PokerStars (fr network) 2 or 3 years ago. There was a massive number of days 1, like more than 200. (Multiples days 1 every day).
Buy in was 30€ and there was almost 40k registration. Of course when you were out of a flight you could register for another one as long as you didn’t make the cut for day 2 so it wasn’t 40k different people.
1st place was 140k €
Ended 30th, took around 2.5k.
Took me couple days to recover from the hand that got me out. All in pre, 90/10 for me at flop. That’s poker, classic thing I know, I did this to other people too along the way. But was dreaming of more 😄
