How To Trade In Path of Exile 2 - Beginner's Guide To Using The Trade Market

POE 2 is 50% amazing 50% trash at this point I'm stuck Temple of Chaos and the viper Boss I can`t survive the temple and I simple run out of healing in the Viper fight 3/4 of the way in the fight cause the poisons aren't really avoidable. I upgraded all my gear spent all my mats and then corrupted my weapon to try and up the damage but is lowered it 25% so I totally screwed now. Brick walled my progress its a solid 6/10 though

This system is so bad, I am on PS5 and I whispered 30 people who listed an item like a minut ago and noone answers. Either they don't know how to trading works, how to invite someone to trade or any of the billion reasons why developers made this so hard. POE2 is great, don't get me wrong, but some of the things with this game are frustrating

just upgraded my dps by almost a 100% because i decided to trade for the first time! i wonder how many exalted ive spent just to disenchant now hahahah

Trading on site is pure trash. Its 2 days that im contacting people for 1 item and no one answer. Are they bots or something i have no idea, no way 200 people couldnt answer anything. They need an action house asap.

You need to illustrate the buying and selling steps. Just saying 'give it to them' is not helptul.

Fun fact I got the best weapons from vendors. And I am talking really good weapons, I erased final boss in cruel in 10 seconds. Game is weird, super stingy forever and then it’s like “here is a weapon for you to erase everything”.

Ya I wish they had the in game auction house like Poe 1 xD

So when I clicSo, when I click public, the coins icon aoppears., but when I hit ok it disappears. I cant right click on my items to set a price. do I have to be at a cerrtain point in game?

so for buying equipment, you whisper them and then meet in game to trade?

Please help whenever I click "Direct Whisper" it always show me this error "Invalid query; your account must be in-game to use this feature" but I'm in the game already. Not sure how to solve this problem

haha, you also spelled essence wrong. My bank looked exactly like yours until a few mins ago when I got ocd about it and fixed it.

How do you even try to easily compare how to sell your items for a decent price. Just look at the stats etc on the website? Definitely clunky either way.

Really wish they would just automate the process. There's no need to make us go through all these hoops of inviting and initiating the trade. I already have a premium stash tab that shows what I want to sell and what it's priced at. Sure allow them to whisper to haggle if they'd like, but if they are cool with the listing why not let them just buy it then and there??

No where in the video does it teach me how to make a trade. "Go in here and grab it and make a trade!" sounds so easy but doesn't tell us what to do. Is this like D2R where I invite them to my game and then click on their character and hit "trade"? Or is there a more automatic way to trade?

i know understand why there is a middleman in FFXIV. the retainer,

so that it is the one "online" selling you items. the player does not need to be online to be able to sell

warframe has had me trade like this minus the use of a stash tab so i can get used to this lol. would be great automatic tho

Forza Horizon did an auction house...why can't POE do it?

The problem is that this is absolutely useless to new players as I believe you have to get a char to at least level 25, so your first char is just a grind fest with no way of improving their gear.
After you've got one char to 25 you can buy for alts but that's a nonsense in my opinion.

My witch is level 11 and I've tried to buy a new wand from the gear exchange and can't do it......looks like this is why....

Honestly it is not that bad.

Although I can understand the part where it could be better in way where the game can have its own mega storage. And the seller puts his item on such storage with a price. And whoever see's it can buy it with exact price or bid on it.

But then the issue with that is that someone rich might hoard all of the rare items not giving the other players a chance to obtain the same items.

Meanwhile when people have to meet and trade in real time. People actually got a chance to talk and trade. Denying other people from just hoarding all items and mats if they were all automated buying/selling.

The gear trading system is really dumb... I have to go to a website, then whisper someone, then go back into the game to party up with the seller, then buy the item?

I have problem with direct whisper.When I click, it show this error: invalid query. you can't use this future in your account.

Personal experience: I find an item that I want for 1 exalted orb. I click "direct whisper". And then I don't ever hear back from the seller and nothing happens.

this trading system is ridiculous. it's 2024.

You also have to be level 24 min to buy with currency, I learned that the hard way

Would be great if they implemented to where u by pass meeting other player and just outright buy the item if you have enough currency and the other player will get their payment in the ingame mail or something.

I hope they add a real auction house in game, too many pathetic troll kids fake posting items for low price to manipulate or changing the price all time after initial post... absolute garbage losers

Iv played SSF for years for one reason i hate the trade system in poe i think its absurd on pc i can only image what console players feel. its 2024 no reason for not having a auction house

This is incorrect. You do not have to complete level three in order to trade. You can begin trading immediately all you trading website You’re looking for send them a whisper when they see your whisper they will send you a notification to join their party chat left click on the party chat except it you will go into their realm and then you will hit the button trade drop your item in he will drop his item in and then you’ll click on accept or approve trade. It’s that simple.
