I'm on my way...
ОтветитьDave really don't know shit about pizza.
ОтветитьChewy 5.3
ОтветитьAre there any pizza places in Northwest Arkansas that server New Haven style pizza??
ОтветитьI’ll just go with Totino’s! Stop it
Ответитьlived in Garland too! Dave, do by-the-slice at next years fair - tellin ya', make it good, cheap and crank it out fresh, sell sodas and bam! Make a lot of dough. Price is everything out there and most are overpriced.
ОтветитьWhen is the last good pie that didnt score a 7.9 or 8.1? Just seems like the dave standard nowadays... somebody said 90% im gonna say 96% of all scores now are 7.9 or 8.1... Everyone knows the rules
ОтветитьFrom New Haven. Wrong again Dave. Love when he makes an ass out himself.
ОтветитьBecause it's in Texas, it gets a .5 penalty
Ответитьthat score means it's a good pizza but not new haven sorry tx!🤣
Ответитьwait, an 8.2 or an 8 too???? we have to know!!
ОтветитьDave was mad about the tomato pie being called "the original". If that mixup never happened, the cheese pizza woulda been an 8.6!
ОтветитьLooks like absolute shit.
ОтветитьGreat to see such a young man owning and operating a great pizza joint. Good for him. 👍
ОтветитьYa'll act like his opinion, is also your own!
ОтветитьThat cheese pizza couldn't look any more perfect by the guidelines he lays out in every video
ОтветитьDave needs to spend time in New Haven having the original tomato pie at Sally’s and Pepe’s - and go back to Carpanzanos in Guilford and have their Pizza Marinara also (same traditional tomato pie)
ОтветитьThat’s a cap. 8.8
ОтветитьYa ma is an 8.7
ОтветитьMy boy is in the Hood 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼 triple D!!!!!!!
ОтветитьDude isn't in the Heart of Texas.
ОтветитьI'm going to hit that place up tomorrow
ОтветитьThe term "Pie" sounds gross for a Pizza, lol.
ОтветитьI'm pretty liberal and don't even know what else you would call a shootout other than a shootout? I had to google it to see that it's not actually a shootout, so now I'm kind of disappointed.
ОтветитьBullshit score... shoulda been high 8's, low 9's. No logic at all to Dave's scoring.
ОтветитьDave Portnoy for President 2028
Ответить8.1 everyone knows the rules
ОтветитьThere used to be New Haven style pizza in San Antonio, Texas at a place called Colonas. It was the best pizza I ever had. They shut down years ago and I still keep hoping they pop back up.
ОтветитьEveryone knows if the owner isn’t standing there it’s an 8.5 at least
ОтветитьMonster Score in TX? I am so pumped
ОтветитьBro just be saying shii, 8.1 get tf outta here
ОтветитьS/o modest mouse
Ответитьthis man got robbed
Ответитьa little too burnt for my taste
ОтветитьWhat a pompous azz. This guy takes pizza snobbery to another level......
What lush he is!!
New Haven tomato pie - no mozz - is the classic New Haven style. Cheese other than pecorino romano is considered a topping. Elm City native telling you.
ОтветитьIts burnt to a crisp, everyone knows the rules
ОтветитьIm from Chicago and I tried a spot he gave out here (not deep dish) an 8 something and I was severely disappointed. It was at that point that I realized that he has his own particular taste (which he kinda eludes to always by saying which style is his style) and that his style/type of pizza is not one that that I liked. I hated the pizza I ate actually and only bought from there cus of the review and yeah, just nasty. But hey, at least now I know. And I now know too that if a place has a low score, it’s probably not actually bad.
Ответитьtheres probably something about the flavor that kept it low, its always tough with the worker over the shoulder but i agree 8.3 wouldve been worthy
ОтветитьWhy woild anyone want a "pizza" that's just tomato sauce and bread. Lol
Edit. Also 8.6+. I love how the entire comment section is full of people saying it should have scored higher.
Also, I went to DeLucia's Brick Oven Pizza in Raritan NJ since it was one of the highest scores ever... It was probably one of the worst pizzas I've had. Picked up the crust and it flopped over and all the ingredients (cheese and sauce included) slipped off. Group of 6 of us driving to a bachelor party, all thought it was terrible. Maybe they just got lazy after some food publicity. The 4.1 star on Google is probably going to end up being in the upper 3s.
At least a 6.1!
Ответитьwent here a few months ago after my firefighter physical test
was really good
I didn't even know we had pizza good enough for this guy to pull up and review lol and I lived here all my life 😂
ОтветитьYou most definitely can order a tomato pie in New Haven. Both Franke Pepe's and Sally's both advertise it??
ОтветитьShould’ve been no lower than a 8.8 especially for tat being in Texas and too have made amazing looking pie..in comparison to pies up north that I’ve seen him give 8.7 to all day.. he should’ve gave been more fair but hey who am I
ОтветитьNew York Pizza and Pints in dallas. Do it.
ОтветитьJust by looking at the pizza, you know its going to taste goooood
ОтветитьI guessed right. He always goes 8.1.
ОтветитьTry slow rise in Waco Texas
ОтветитьHe'd eat a cracker with tomato paste and cheese and call it a 8.1
Ответить
