the opposite of evil is not g__d , it is righteousness .
ОтветитьWith all my sincere respect, this God made everything is good but it is up to you has never made sense to me. Who created the evil that everybody can choose, then? And what is in the person who "chooses" evil? And why is their heart dark, since all is good?
ОтветитьAt some point in our lives we all start to become the sum total of our decisions and actions. And while anyone can make a change for the better, it takes a long time to live down bad decisions. The longer you live wrong, the longer it takes to regain the trust of ANYONE, much less the people you screwed over.
ОтветитьIf we have to work with what's within us, we don't really have a choice because, following this logic, our inclinations are also already within us...
ОтветитьAny Rabbi is a denier of Christ.
ОтветитьBrilliant!
Judaism is about God creating man in God’s image. One is born Good with All the potential (free will) to choose Good.
Profound, but I don't agree with it. There is a fatal flaw in that Rabbi's reasoning.
Hashem created us good. That is to say, not prefect, not holy, not very good, rather good. But also not kind of good, not a fixer-upper, not "equally bad and good" either. (Otherwise, the later would mean that Hashem created bad, created evil. And that don't fly.) Hashem created us "just good," good as in having purpose and function. Hashem has given each of us a path to follow through life, making us the best we can become. We each have been "bara" (filled) with a purpose and a function. We each have been "bara" with the tools and means to fulfill that purpose and function.
Yet, Hashem gave us free-will. And in that, we decide to do good or bad, to stay on the path Hashem planned for us, or to wander off from it. Each time we decide to not do Hashem's will for us, we go off that path, and step by step can become bad, then evil. It is us that creates evil, not Hashem.
And that; is the fatal flaw in that Rabbi's reasoning. Hashem does not, did not, create evil. We, those who were gifted with free will, have created evil. Evil is the causal effects of our own personal actions. In other words; Good is following Hashem's will. Evil is in not following Hashem's will. And knowing Hashem's will, is why we study Tanakh.
Did israel miss “love thy neighbour”? Which is the most important commandment. Why is it so? The ET at the fall of Atlantis have the key
ОтветитьSo what Israeli's are doing to Palestinians is that a good thing or a bad thing?
ОтветитьThe problem of always using Hitler as “the worst person”, is when people learn about him, and more importantly about the times and circumstances which produced him as an enlightened despot; what our schools don’t teach but what the victors wrote. People can rebel against lies and perceived lies. The truth shall set you free
ОтветитьYou do not have free will if you are indoctrinated from birth to hate people of another religion and/or ethnicity.

I form the light, and create darkness; I make peace, and create evil; I am the LORD, that does all these things.- Yishayahu 45 7
Why do they continue to lie .half of the innocent killed were Christians. It was 50/50 but all you hear is jews .it was told by a German general it was protocol .to do that yet they continue to lie .
ОтветитьThe reason the Jews were treated so bad was they were under a curse of there own making which ended when they got there lad back. A bible scholar out of Canada found it in the old testament. It started when they were carried off for like 256 years on return god said sin again and it will be 7 times longer and so it was .They continued yo break the Sabbath some how .
ОтветитьVery well said. A good person can do a bad thing. But if he regrets it, feels and knows he did wrong, asks for forgiveness, he is holding on to his goodness and strives to be better. The opposite will have an opposite , terrible, different outcome as a person.
ОтветитьSomething people don’t understand is that evil is to not listen to the word of Elohim good is the word of Elohim.
ОтветитьPurpose for creation is for us to worship God. No one is good except HIM.
Follow Jesus yall
Jesus Christ (also a Jew), irespectively of any religious affiliation was trying to teach people pearls. To love and respect another, but
what a sisyphus effort. Our Creator created as the way Hi did, with our conscience on one side and satan temptations on the other.
There is not good excuse for bad behaviour.
The Haavara- moving house- Agreement, August,1933 makes Hitler the founding father of the State of Israel. So both are bad? Laugh. “The Unique and Its Property “, Max Stirner,1844/2017 Landstreicher translation to end all this good/ evil gibberish. No takers!

ОтветитьGod is the light and the word, the reality here and now. God's mum is the all-encompassing heavens the dream world the unformed.
ОтветитьPurpose of creation is to glorify God and have your soul deemed pleasing to God!!!

ОтветитьNoticed😮
ОтветитьIf Hitler had the choice to do good, why didn’t he?
ОтветитьThe Serpent has a lot to answer to.
ОтветитьIf you want to be good, go to the source of all that is good (God): if you reject God's presence, laws and statutes you separate yourself from the source of all that is good and this absence of goodness (evil) will devour you.
ОтветитьFrom the beginning in the garden of Eden we did only knew good and we where with the creator and needed nothing and we didnt need a saviour either. As soon as we got knowledge about good and evil we was no longer able to only do good deeds. We are not able to have the knowledge of evil and never do evil. We need the Lords help to resist evil. God gave us that through Jesus Christ the Messiah and he sent us the holy spirit to dwell in us and witnessing to us and. He foster and parenting us and he is a mentor and a teacher. He is our comforter. He gives us hope when no hope is in sight. We need this all the life because the knowledge of evil is always around the corner and deep in us.
ОтветитьWell said!
ОтветитьThank you Rabbi. The perfect correction to a horribly flawed document issued by Bergoglio. Dignitas Infinita.
ОтветитьThe fruit of the knowledge of good and evil is choice. The original translations stated that Eve and Adam partook. Not ate. Partook. Wich means they made a choice.
ОтветитьI was taught this in Kindergarten.
Ответить“The line between good and evil runs not through states, nor between classes, nor between political parties either — but right through every human heart.”
ОтветитьThis rabbi's wording reminded me a lot of how Saint Paul spoke. I shouldn't be surprised about that, considering Paul was taught by rabbis, himself.
ОтветитьWe are equally yoked a W
ОтветитьTo be good is to stop being selfish and to stop expecting more out of life than it has to offer
ОтветитьYou Rabbis should know that only God is good. Each of us is short in the eyes of God because we have all sinned, not a single person is without sin and therefore good, at least the rabbis should know that, this falls under basic knowledge.
ОтветитьPeople who decide to do bad things are often called prisoners.
ОтветитьI'm afraid this is a straying from the biblical position concerning the universal nature of man. He is morally bad, nevertheless the image of God (morally - though fallen) is stamped upon him. Genesis is the key to this. One reference is Genesis 6:5-12..."Then the L--D saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the L--D was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the L--D said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them." But Noah found grace in the eyes of the L..D" (v.5-8). "The earth was also corrupt before G-d, and the earth was filled with violence. So G-d looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth" (v11, 12). The question is whether we are as bad as we could possibly be in our thoughts, words and deeds and the answer is, probably not. The burden of my own heart are not only my sins, which have been forgiven, but that my sins have grieved my Heavenly Father. But I do get it. Essentially our choices do matter and can bring about great good or bad. We should be thankful to G-d for those who have done good in the world from whom we have benefitted so much.
Ответитьmuslim/hamas is flat out EVIL.
ОтветитьFreedom off choice
There is being possesed by demons, there is mental illness, there is being "traumatized" by bad experiance beyond your power
There is drug,alcohol,medication,gamble addiction
And on and on and on
There is Gods free choice
Money trading in the bible wasn't simple currency exchange. The Rabbi's were the bankers and charging extorsianist usury.
ОтветитьShaloam friends
ОтветитьI agree with Hsun Ching.
The congenital nature of Man is evil the good in us is a learned trait.
Amen 🙏
ОтветитьFree will, God gave us all free will to choose for Him or against Him. If you continually sin and harden your heart you will go to perdition.
