Stilted buildings in Mantan Village have a typical Dai characteristic. Its division of dark, light and grey shows Dai people's wisdom with luminance and space. With regards to the designs of Dai stilted buildings, Gerard Burgermeister, from Switzerland, has formed his own understanding.
