if you want more drums, please check out keep yourself alive or my fairy king, 2 very underrated songs
ОтветитьWe Will Rock You and We Are The Champions are from the 70’s
ОтветитьIn Roger Taylor (the drummer🤭) words: "Oscar Wilde meets Led Zeppelin"
ОтветитьThe band were jamming when they came up with the riff this song was based on. It was inspired by Kashmir!
Roger Taylor the drummer and Freddie wrote this song.
Every band member wrote songs. They all have number one hits
This Is like producer First react ear Song for the First time. Is not possibile.
Ответитьhi brother listen to this version of innuendo by queen machine live at smukfest 2019 do it and let me know and thanks for your great work
ОтветитьRoger Taylor is the drummer.
ОтветитьReal masterpiece
ОтветитьWE will Rock you and WE are the Champions Not from the 80s they are from 1977
ОтветитьNothing less than a masterpiece. I have no shame to say that I had goosebumps all through this song. It's simply beyond me to explain what it was like to live through the career of this band, particularly during the Freddie years. So many highlights, so many hits, so many live performances where we said in unison 'no fucking way'. I saw them in concert after Freddie's passing with the very fine Paul Rodgers. The first encore was a videoscreen of Freddie's last performance of Bo Rap and there were people crying, and screaming and wailing and calling out his name. I've never known an artist to affect a population like he did. Mercury - messenger to the God's to bring you rock'n'roll but he was also the Pied Piper and we followed right until the end.
Of all the great artists, he is the only one I really, truly miss... therecanbeonlyone
I think (imho) this goes chronologically together with the time he spent with famous spanish opera singer montserrat caballé, when they recorded the barcelona album.
Freddy was a sponge: obviously he absorbed the spanish folclore music, the flamenco, the bolero, the catalanian Soul. and that may be the reason, why you couldnt find a live version: mercurys state of health has alsready developed. the song was released in february. Freddy died end november. ❤& ☮
"We Will Rock You" and "We are the Champions" from the 80's? 20s in and I already know this video will be insufferable. Pass.
ОтветитьI grew up with Queen, household staple and had most of their records in vinyl and it's sad Freddy past away so soon not much longer after the release of this album.
The reason you will not find any live versions of this song or any on this album as Freddy was already very sick. He eventually died due to the complications caused by AIDS.
When Freddy died, I think for a brief moment in time the world stopped spinning and the heavens cried.
Till this day, Queen is one of my first picks on any playlist. And I'll be honest with you, for someone that composes and produces music that hasn't been introduced to some of the all time classic songs I think you really missed the memo there.
It's like when an artist that makes paintings doesn't know Rembrandt or Picasso.
Anyway, glad you finally found out about Queen as it is never to late!
The Show Must Go On
Innuendo
I'm Going Slightly Mad
These Are The Days of Our Lives...
I can't hear those songs without crying
The best Queen song right behind "Bohemian Rhapsody". And I'd say "Innuendo" is even better, it's basically a prog rock song.
The rest of their catalogue doesn't match this level of greatness at all. Queen was more a "singles" worthy band at best. They never achieved a solid discography like The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, King Crimson and Joy Division did.
How come someone into music never heard Innuendo? Weird.
ОтветитьHow can you call you a "producer" if you haven't heared Queen carefully?
ОтветитьQueensongs from the 80’s, and naming We Will rock you and We are the champions.
Both are from 1977, from the News of the world album😂
Did you really said you want to see a live version??? As a music producer you must know Freddie died on the 24th of November 1991. They couldn’t preform this live.
By the time of recording he was very very ill.
Great reaction vid! You should check out the song “March of the Black Queen” from their second album Queen II. It’s definitely a pre-cursor to Bohemian Rhapsody.
Ответить“We gotta find a live version” oh no, who’s gonna tell him
Ответитьthere's so much incredible music out there, but the majority of people prefer listening
to ..... crap
This sing has some inspiration from "Kashmir". That why it reminds you of it.
ОтветитьThere is no live version. This was recoded right before Freddie died.
Ответитьquoting Roger Taylor: "Oscar Wilde meets Led Zeppelin"
ОтветитьQueen's drummer is named Roger Taylor
ОтветитьLive is imposible, Freddie dieath of AIDS november 24 -91……..this was made 11 month before he died, he was so sick he bearly could stand on his legs 😢😢😢
ОтветитьThis song is iconic, a real masterpiece. Perfection meets art. All members of Queen are so great talents and it's a pleasure to hear this music every day. I'm thankful for this gift.
ОтветитьMy fave song from this album is I'm going Slightly Mad.
ОтветитьNot some John Bonham-y drummer. It's Roger Taylor. He isn't derivative of anybody else. You already know from previous comments that you're not going to find a live version of this with Freddie. But I suggest you do check out as many of Queen's live videos as you can.
ОтветитьMy favourite Queen song. Never get tired of it. And BTW it's great that you've never heard Pink Floyd or Bohemian Rapsody before but you sure know Led Zeppelin😁 LedZep RULES!!!!!
ОтветитьI love the connection you drew with Kashmir. This song was definitely inspired by Led Zeppelin to some extent, and both songs heavily utilise world music (sitar tuning in kashmir and flamenco in innuendo, scales, etc)
Ответитьimmediately listen to "the show must go on" and "these are the days of our lives" after this and you will begin to see the merest tip of the iceberg of the magical chaos inside Freddy Mercury's mind and the sheer number of genres that his musicality covers. Sadly by the time this album landed he was in the final stages of HIV aids and had not performed live for nearly 4 yrs
ОтветитьThis is my favorite Queen song, the composition is majestic
ОтветитьPlease react to Queen, Live Aid concert 1985. Then Somebody to Love live.
ОтветитьQueen definitely is a good rabbit hole to drop into. 😁 (And so is Pink Floyd. Glad to see you're putting them on your playlist!). Btw, since you want to explore the 70s and since you are a drummer, you might want to check out the Carpenters doing 'Mr Guder' live at Budogan in 1974).
ОтветитьIf you're looking for different types of rock, you might want to check out a band named Kansas. Start with Carry on My Wayward Son.
ОтветитьIsaac, it will be great if you react to a few other Queen songs from the 70s like KEEP YOURSELF ALIVE, FRIENDS WILL BE FRIENDS. And I WANT IT ALL from 1989. Awesome songs, awesome performance by an awesome band Queen. Freddie is the greatest singer, that walked the planet. Queen rocks.
ОтветитьIsaac, Queen made 4 rhapsodies: The March Of The Black Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Millionaire Waltz and Innuendo. By definition rhapsody means a song comprised of a few different sections. Roger and John wrote a few songs, also hits but majority of the songs were written by Freddie and Brian. Freddie died of AIDS in November of 1991 and that was the end of Queen. But everybody in the world knows Queen. Everybody knows Freddie, because he was a legend and their music will be listened to until the end of time. Their masterpieces are timeless. You just discovered them so enjoy.
ОтветитьFreddie the King Legend ❤️
