Where I am, they call prepared steel "short iron".
ОтветитьGreat informative video Thub. Glad to see the handy and clever bucket holding stand that you designed and built is getting lots of use. More kudos for the filming and posting of this video.
ОтветитьI really enjoy your videos. Learned a few things today that I didn't know. Thank you.
ОтветитьThe beard is fire 🔥
ОтветитьOne of the best “starter” videos I’ve seen for scrapping. Good job!
ОтветитьNice video. Subscribed just bc its nice message for the whole world. Been scraping since teen in 07. Alot of knowledge.
ОтветитьThere are 4 types of brass: 1 yellow brass 2. C metal brass 3. Res brass 4. Hard brass
ОтветитьSo true! And as always great video I always enjoy it when I see you have uploaded!
ОтветитьExcellent, excellent video.
ОтветитьImpressive work !!! Awesome video been a while glad you're keeping doing THE thing buddy scraplife style
Very informative video like it
We are almost identical in the way we collect
ОтветитьI know of a X-ray company that buys CT scanners and cardiac cath labs for parts to sell. After they harvest the parts they'll call me to come and get the rest for scrap. I work part time for another X-ray company and right now when im not working I usually spend about 7 hours a day processing scrap. I get almost anything you can imagine.
Ответитьumm think you forgot a few high value scraps (having recently paid off my house by scrapping sterling and a bit of gold).
ОтветитьI've learned so much from you already. This was a nice refreshing refresher.
ОтветитьNice video, I go to two different scrap yards one that only buys non-ferrous and the other one that only buys Steel. Currently the Steelyard only has one category for steel that being tin Shred they have me throw the brake rotors in with the Shred for a whopping $0.025 a pound 😂 gas money
ОтветитьScrap price where i live is shit. Hauled a scrap car in, made enough to pay for fuel to get there and back
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьStrip Stripmeister is unavailable😢
ОтветитьI don't sell all my scape, I make things from it instead. The copper bullets. Copper melts at 1,600 degrees so having a steel mold it's not a problem. Lead melts at 300 degrees. So from the steel I make knives, axes, wrenchs, digging tools, shovels, wheel barrow, chisels and digging bars. Once I received a pile of old plow disce from a farmer and made ten post hole diggers. The ones not so good I made bird baths and feeders.
ОтветитьI don't find red brass very often either but last week I broke down a part of a 1970's era printing press and pulled of 8 of lbs of it. I got $2.88/lb for red vs $2.21/lb for yellow. Definitely worth separating if you find it. Enjoy your videos!
ОтветитьSppppsssst. You have some steel in your ear. I recycled all my ear steel.😅😊😅
ОтветитьWhat about pop metal like old car mirrors
ОтветитьHello,
Can you tell me what is the price of the compressor scrap please big fan
Well done video, enjoyed it much! Learned a lot.
ОтветитьMy guy, I haven't seen you in awhile.
ОтветитьI take an extra minute with a drywall finishing pad to my copper and always get the most for it. But I'd consider myself a hobbyist next to your operation.
ОтветитьLove watching your vids...you move along at just right the pace and even re-cap or repeat some information in several videos to help us retain the info better. You also ACTUALLY cover the material you say you're going to cover in the video title...too many folks don't do very good job at that for some reason. I've found scrapping to be a fun , rewarding and honest side-hustle...we can all look ourselves in the mirror every day knowing we help keep perfectly good , perfectly reusable metals / materials out of the landfills AND made some extra money doing it - not glamorous work - but honest work !! Thanks for what you do to help us do this work better !!
Ответить316 stainless should not be magnetic, 304 will be slightly magnetic
ОтветитьSend you an email.
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьFor the algorithm. Interesting and informative.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьI thought 316 S/S has more nickel and should be non magnetic . Any reason for slightly magnetic ? Mainly used to in commercial kettles or photoghaphy to resist corrosion .
ОтветитьΠολύ μιλάς σε όλα τα βίντεο,
ОтветитьMost all the scrap yards around here give you the same $ for all ferrous metals.
ОтветитьToday I learned that whiskey in sufficient volume can make thing that aren't satirical seem satirical. I also learned that there are lots of metals to be recycled for money but that knowledge somehow feels less important.
Ответитьselfie channels belong on tik tok
ОтветитьWell done I only scrap stuff that is not useful enough for me to build things out of. Love this channel and like getting a little coin for my efforts to keep as much out of the land fill! Cheers
ОтветитьI’ve been working in the scrap yard for two years now and man I wish I had more people like you come in and make it simple for me it’s not hard work but sometimes people can make something so complicated and just in fun
ОтветитьDo you ever melt any of it down and make ingots out of it?
ОтветитьI enjoy your content! God bless from alberta canada
ОтветитьAwesome video!!
ОтветитьHey bro, curious from Australia. Have you ever done a total income from your scrap for a whole year? Would be very interested to know roughly how much you pull in over 12 months.
All the besy
Why don’t you recover gold silver and Palladium and copper from circuit boards I’ve been doing it and it’s actually way better money than any other type of scrapping😊
You only really need hydrochloric acid and bleach and then just filter off the solution silver will stay as solids
I didn't know 316 stainless was marked!! Thanks!!
ОтветитьA very good video lots of good information.
GOD BLESS YOU FOR
