I buy Baohong watercolour paper and Meeden ceramic palettes from Temu. Genuine article(s); the paper is great quality IMO and they're both cheaper than Amazon. I think I might invest in the pencil extender and glass dip pen after watching your review. Thanks.

I have mini palete , but plastic one ,bc I thought plastic one is easier for cleaning than wooden one and i paid it for 5€. It's amazing I use it daily, but I am sucker for mini stuf and I am patient only for small painting so it's so good for me. I have good watercolors so I don't worry how to put it in a box but it lasts for max 7 days .

My first tablet was a wacom bamboo tablet from the early 2010s, it cost a bit more than the temu one and i thought i was a bad artist for years and almost gave up on doing digital art. I was so surprised when i took a chance and upgraded to a better tablet and it turned out i could actually draw straight smooth lines exactly where i wanted them and that it was the tablet's lack of pressure sensitivity that had made it so difficult and frustrating. Compared to that the temu tablet doesnt seem bad for the price, but tablets have come a long way the last 15 years both in quality and affordability, so maybe it's wrong to compare it to a tablet from the 2010s lmao.

I have a xenx tablet and it looks like you may need to recalibrate some settings. I will admit its super buggy at times but it was my first intro into digital art. I dont really use it as often as im going back into traditional, but its nice to start off with

The watercolor set up does come with a pad, but no paint. One set comes with watercolor brushes as well. You just have to look for the ones that are sets not the individual item alone.

I am obsessed with portable watercolor sets! And I have bought waaaaaay too many!
I love being out and about, and seeing something and thinking “ oh I want to paint that” and taking a photo just isn’t the same.
There’s a whole group of people called “Urban Sketchers” who take portable drawing/ watercolor kits with them for the express purpose of capturing their daily travels on paper…..
and there are those watercolor artists that do plein air paintings…..and some of their kits are very small… Sometimes think there is this huge unspoken competition to use the smallest possible watercolor kit…..because some of the kits are ….well ,tiny and look totally unusable except by leprechauns!

Usually, for me, the only way I can really tell if some piece of art gear will work for me is to buy it, stock it up wirh expensive watercolor paint and go out and use it.
And I have been very frequently seduced by gear that looks just ….sooooo sexy and awesome , and is totally impractical for me, just doesn’t work for my style of painting, etc…. I’m a real sucker for this kind of thing…..I’m always on the quest for the “ Perfect portable Painting kit” …..and it’s always that next bit of gear that promises to be “IT” . Lol!


I can’t tell you have many kits that I’ve bought that doesn’t work for me….. it’s all very individual…..painting styles, subject of the painting , the weight of the kit you carry…..and so on…

Love the people who can afford ethics when shopping 😂. The moral high ground is expensive 😢

I had to stop the video, just to say that the mini watercolor palette is to be filled with tubed watercolor. I just couldn't get past the fact as an artist, he couldn't think of that 🤦‍♀️ Also, this is meant mainly to watercolor on the go. More for the Urban Sketching type. You don't need to rip apart a whole book. you just clip it on some pages.

The mini watercolor palette may be better suited to display with a doll or in a diaroma. Maybe without the clip, use that for snacks. The glass pens are beautiful.

I've never seen anyone destroy watercolors like that. They come in tube form for filling up pallettes...

The only thing I use off of Temu is a cheap drawing glove that's a bit small for me

it would be kinda cool if Jazza came out with his own line of Graphic design tablets and Pen displays that had taken all the good pros from some of the leading pen displays and tablets and made them into his own line/ range

I love the fountain pens I get from Temu. The Jinhao pens rival any of my expensive fountain pens.
