Soilwork is the best melodic

I listened to this song 2 weeks ago when it came out and decided to reserve judgement until listening to the rest of the EP. I tried my best to understand why people are digging it so much but I can’t. I feel like this band had lightning in a bottle with EOTE-Dormant Heart and lost it as soon as Josh Middleton decided he wanted to focus on his vocals. I don’t get it, why can’t we have the complex emotional riffs and arrangements from those albums with vocals that Josh would approve of. These new albums are just kinda bland and boring.
