Maybe she was just trying to make the best out of a bad situation. She was surrounded by people who maybe love and support her and maybe she wanted to show it wasn't the end of her world and life

It's funny how we are coming here to criticize her and ran on her parade while she is choosing happiness despite the circumstances. I think it is very strong of her and I'm sure it is encouraging to someone who has probably dealt with something like that. I'm sure she also worked hard planning everything, so she decided to celebrate with her friends and family, so what. I probably wouldn't have the strength to do it, but I won't criticize her. Because you want women to live their lives as if they are constantly on display for a man and their approval
