In this video, we'll start by explaining the ingredients you'll need to make these black burger buns . Let's get baking!
**Ingredients:**
✿ 1 Tbsp - Yeast
✿ ¼ Cup - Sugar
✿ 1 Tsp - Salt
✿ ¼ Tsp - Ekka Powder
✿ ¼ Cup - Vegetable Oil
✿ 1 Cup - Water
✿ 6 Drops - Black Food Colour
✿ ½ Kg - All Purpose Flour
✿ White Sesame Seed As Required
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowt, dissolve the yeast, sugar, salt, ekka powder, vegetable oil, black food colour in warm water. Mix very well
2. Gradually add the flour, one cup at a time, mixing well after each addition until a dough forma
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until it doubles in size
5. Punch down the risen dough to release the air bubbles, then divide it into equal-sized portions to form burger-sized buns
6. Shape each piece of dough into a bun shape and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving enough space between them for reing
7. Cover the burns with a clean kitchen towel and let them rise again for sbout 30-45 minutes, or until they double in size.
8. Preheat your oven to 356F (180°C)
9. Once the buns have risen, bake then in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes
10. Remove the buns from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack before slicing and using them for your favorite burger recipe
