The truth is a lot of black people do have these so called asian features but due to their african roots.
Some tribes in south africa all have these asian features.
And though asians are known for being racists against black people they are often the ones with the most similar black features you will find out there.
The nose, at times the curly hair, the brown or black skin and the eyes which originated from Africa the motherland.

But yes, agreed, instead they could culturally assimilate to african tribes who have these features, deamed asian by society instead of assimilating with asian countries.
They want to remind the world on some subconcious or conscious level that they're different from the standard black girl. They're different, better than just the black woman with african ancestry.

Black women are the most destructive to the black woman's image than anyone else throughout history.

I’m so glad I found this video! It perfectly articulates the feelings I have especially since I exist mostly in the world as a black woman in the ordinary. Society always makes me feel less beautiful if I’m just being black and not ✨black✨ when my edges aren’t laid, my braids are too old or when I existing with only sunscreen on my face.

I like the term featurism that you use, but I usually just describe this phenomenon as eugenics. I'll be sure to use the word featurism in the future though, it's much more specific.

The majority of women (and men) are average looking. This includes all races-white, black, asian, latino, indigenous, etc. It's not a black thing or a dark/skin light skin thing.

It is incredibly rare to be beautiful (10% of the worlds population) like Naomi Campbell, Halle Berry, Adriana Lima, Charlize Theron.
