ОтветитьThat looks like a lot of fun! We've wanted to visit Japan for a long time. My son's Great Uncle was a sumo wrestler.
Ответить🐞🍁Hi Glen and Julie! Wow what a great trip! I know someone who would have LOVED to have gone along and wish I would have known sooner! HOW CAN WE KNOW WHEN YOU ARE PLANNING THESE FABULOUS TRIPS?? WE LOVE WATCHING YOU FROM MANITOBA!
ОтветитьLooks like an amazing trip! We're just back from a week in Kyoto and can't wait to go back again.
ОтветитьThank you for the recap of your trip! It was enjoyable to watch.
ОтветитьI'm so jealous! I haven't been anywhere, and now I'm too old and disabled (and poor) to even dream of traveling.
I hope you had so much fun 💗!
Thanks for "taking us along"
ОтветитьSumo fans rejoice! Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьLooks amazing! A good time had by all?!
ОтветитьSafe travels home! I'm really looking forward to seeing videos telling us all about your adventure. I'd love to know more about the tea ceremony!
ОтветитьThanks so much for sharing!
ОтветитьI find different cultures and countries fascinating. I had a sister in law from Japan. She taught me a few things on making sushimi. I never tried sushi because raw fish holds no appeal to me. The sushimi we made was with raw vegetables.
ОтветитьLooks amazing. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьDamn, I wish I had known!
ОтветитьI hope you keep doing these trips. I would love to go on one, and I think my wife would tolerate it for me.
ОтветитьJust visited family in Okinawa last year! It was great.
ОтветитьOMG that's Mitakeumi's stable!!!! Did you see him somewhere inside?????? Wowwwwwww
Ответитьsome exception food in japan looking forward to your insights :) okonomiyaki and ramen are pretty hard to do...easy enough shown..but hard to do from my own experience :(
ОтветитьGardeners going over a pine tree removing individual needles with chop sticks. Some pines have needles in 3's some in 5's. This tree had 5's but the owner wanted the look of needles in 3's....
ОтветитьQuestion. Were you recognized by any of the locals?
ОтветитьThat looked like you had sooooo much fun! I went to all those places decades ago, but I wasn't with as good company as you were. Like you, I loved okonomiyaki; I even went through great pains to find a cookbook with a recipe for it. I was there around Thanksgiving, which is actually "sushi season" there.
ОтветитьHey Guys, totally awesome video & thanks for sharing video of the Japanese culture….Did you go inside the Japanese subway system? I hear that’s an adventure in itself!🤣 Cheers, 😎👍
ОтветитьYou two are so cute. Looks like a fabulous trip. Glad no teeth issues this time 😂.
ОтветитьGlad you had a good trip. I hope you'll share a recipe or two with us.
ОтветитьBeautiful. I'm so glad you got to have such an amazing experience in Japan. I miss it so much.
ОтветитьGlen and Julie continue to be the coolest people ive never met. Thanks for sharing a piece of this journey with us.
ОтветитьWhat tour were you with?
ОтветитьI'm curious as to how many countries were represented in your group?
Ответитьfabulous vacation ⛩️
ОтветитьMy wife and I visited her son in NC in October. His wife is from Tokyo. Her mom was there as well so we ate traditional Japanese foods. The cabbage pancake was interesting. Ill be watching for other videos of your trip. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьJust caught this video. It was an amazing trip, and like you mentioned, a catalyst to see and do more. The group was awesome, and Julie and Glen were outstanding hosts. I really enjoyed the trip and will treasure it forever
ОтветитьThese culinary trips with members of your channel really make this a unique wonderful community experience. Even though I can’t afford to attend, I appreciate the fact that you both do it and share the experience with your channel.

ОтветитьGlad you had such a great time, and even more glad that you were able to fully immerse in it without worrying about filming or taking lots of photos. Sometimes that's the best way to enjoy a vacation!
