I’m 59 and last year I had a PRP Treatment that went so wrong. First my facial fat started sleuthing off. Hyperpigmentation exploded on my face. This by far was the worse things that ever could happen to me. I have always had good skin. But I wanted to do something nice for myself and there was a lot of hype behind the PRP. Now oil literally pours out of my face. I use the drying mud but it only helps about half a day. So far nothing has helped. 😢😢😢😢😢

What can you substitute for moisturizer?

I’m going thru this now, I’m 40 and my skins never been so oily. But I must say for the first time in my life I have no acne. It’s weird, I’m still trying to figure out how to resolve this, but I understand the gift/curse.

Ok but seriously, you have to blot otherwise makeup slides. I hate how people say moisturize cs if you don’t your skin will be more oily to compensate….in my case it’s not true. I’ve moisturized and my skin still produces tons of oil and if I don’t, not going to lie, it seems like a little less oil on my skin. But bc I have combo/oily/sensitive/acne prone skin I usually do moisturize but when my skin started breaking out really bad, I took a break from the moisturizer and it helped to clear it up. I can get on board with the salicylic acid but sometimes it stops working and/or dries skin out, clogs pores and makes pimple babies Lol. The struggle is REAL! lol 😝🙄

i use moisturizer in the morning and by the afternoon it’s so oily. whenever i skip it i don’t break out and it just calms idk

I'm sure this woman does all of that. Oily skin is genetic. There's just not a lot you can do. Also, those oily skin papers are perfectly fine, it's the only way you're getting rid of all the oil that your body just GENETICALLY produces.

This is MY skin, and I'm 56! It's very important to use OIL CONTROL moisturizer, and know what oil control skincare ingredients are for all your products. Use Asian rice papers to blot.

DO NOT LISTEN to the WHITE MAN. He doesn't know crap, does not have oily skin, and recommends OIL FREE moisturizer, which IS USELESS. Use an OIL CONTROL moisturizer with oil CONTROL ingredients, like kaolin/bentonite, lentil powder, charcoal, niacinimide, silica, oil control/acne vitamin C, like Sodium Ascorbyl Palmytate? (known as SAP), and aluminum starches. Blue green algae may work too.

Get educated, so you don't waste $50 or so dollars on skincare and makeup products that won't work and be useless, like what this fool MAN here is recommending. Men love to tell women what works for them, without being a woman. That's dumbasabagofrocks. They don't have women's hormones like that, and don't get as oily.

And use COMMON SENSE - DON'T put products containing a lot of oils or products where a lot of oils are high up in the list of ingredients ON YOUR FACE!!!

Yes, this is what oily skin looks like. I have oily skin like hers and I have to wash my face 3 to 4 times a day. It's literally impossible to wear a full face of makeup without it melting off my face after a few hours, so I just don't bother. I've tried salicylic acid cleansers, toners, peels, you name it, I've done it and they don't work. They don't make the skin less oily. The oily skin type is genetic. You can't change it so don't waste so much money on products that claim to do something they just can't. If you actually have the oily skin TYPE not just transiently oily skin that has been caused by an external factor, but that's your actual skin type, you can't change it so don't try. Just accept it and work with the skin you have.

My skin is very oily here’s what I do I don’t use any moisturizers fun fact all the stuff they put in them is not good for your skin so what I do is I splash water on my face in the morning then in the middle of the day and I’m fine

i know you guys are talking as if its smth bad but this video popped up when i tried to search up how to do oily skin makeup. i use to use sunscreen and shi as a kid to make my skin look oily and i had a girl tell me once to wash my face. i just dont understand why society sees this as a bad thing. when i see oily skin i think of a glowing shiny face frr. it looks so pretty to me but i have dry skin and i like to make my makeup n foundation look shiny af
