I met Kevin Dillon at the steel city con, he said during the filming for this movie; they had to worry about heat exhaustion and diseases from bugs and the water. They filmed it in the summer so it was brutally humid and the heat was unbelievable. For all the blood sweat and tears put into it. Platoon’s one of my favorite war movies 😮

The intro gives me the presence of mind to harken back to some of the great achievements of cinema, ' platoon ' directed by Oliver Stone, ' Goodfellas ' directed by the master Martin Scorsese, ' star wars ' director; George Lucas,who brought a new meaning to visual effects. Glen's performance approaches nowhere near any of those. But for what it is, it's absolutely out there in another dimension. Kind of like ' pretty lady ' at the end of ' the Texas chainsaw massacre ' director Tobe hooper meets Goliath from ' David and Goliath ' from the world class 'the Bible. Director; God 😂❤

FYI: Tony Todd aka Candyman played Sgt. Warren…had very small moments in the film. He has since passed away in November 2024.
