Mira Salat : An aspiring Kathak dancer and choreographer who trained with esteemed Kathak teachers Abhay Shanker Misra and Urja Desai Thakore of Pagrav Dance Company. She has over 200 live performances to her name. She has been teaching since 2009, establishing Maati House which focuses on the classical dance style of Kathak.
As one of the directors of Red Lotus CIC, her biggest accomplishment has been ‘Rangeelu Gujarat’, a two day cultural exhibition. She has collaborated with numerous cross genre dancers exploring music and movement
Mehboob Nadeem : Born into a highly illustrious family of traditional musicians of the Agra Gharana, Mehboob Nadeem is a gifted artist, possessing a keen aesthetic sense and a matured ability in the development and rendering of a raga. Under the devoted teaching of his Guru and mentor Pandit Arvind Parikh he has excelled in perfecting the techniques and style of the legendary sitar maestro Ustad Vilayat Khan. He is a widely-respected sitar player who is acknowledged as one of the most accomplished of the present generation of the Vilayatkhani Gharana and is known to be one of the best sitar players in the UK. His performances are truly unique & inspiring and have enthralled audiences in India and abroad both as a sitarist and vocalist. He is regularly called to perform throughout India, Africa, Europe and the UK. He is currently the Head of the Sitar Department at the Indian Institute of Arts and Culture, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Hanif Khan : Hanif Khan is an internationally acclaimed table artist who has performed with Hari Prasad Chaurasia and Ustad Fateh Ali Khan, amongst others. He collaborates with numerous other professional artists across the United Kingdom and world wide. Some of this work has led to performances at major festivals such as, Glastonbury, Womad and Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as a prime place on the stage in a leading West End Production and UK tour of The Kite Runner
