Actually, teams subtract the height from their touch point to get a true vert. In that irl case Hinata likely destroys everyone's vertical measurements 🤙🏽

one thing thats important is that the miyagi prefecture is like a country state, not that many people live there so the chance of your team having star/genius players is low. Ushijima, Oikawa, and Kageyama are pretty rare to find all in miyagi prefecture, its like larry bird coming from indiana and becoming one of the goats

so imagine the talent thats gonna come from very densely populated prefectures like tokyo or osaka, from that you can assume that even a team as good as shiratorizawa would not be wiping the floor with the other teams at nationals considering those teams could have 6 ushijimas on the court at once

As a MB, I liked Tendou already from his Guess Monster episode. So, yeah, from S3, he's been my boi.

Hi guys! Happy to see you so into Haikyuu! Just, it was sad you didn't watch the 2nd OVA before season 3 and the OVA Land vs Air before this new season.
Hope you will watch after even if it's not in the order anymore

i like that you guys are liking this arc and mckay and jack feeling sad for hinata 🥺 also i really like tendo from s3 because his play style is really cool and as we've seen from his backstory he was bullied for looking scary and being a "monster" so volleyball is his one safe place. his "farewell, my paradise" makes me feel soo sad. though to be fair, i had to rewatch the show a couple times to really appreciate him

I love how determinate is hinata.

I think it's an interesting observation from Ukai that they're actually limited Hinata's growth because he needs to play his role well. Whenever I think "Why isn't Hinata better at ___" I realize he probably spent all his time practicing what the team needs instead.

Can't wait for them to meet the new characters in this season!

have you guys watched the Land vs Sky OVAs? its marked as OVAs, but its canon to the storyline (appears in the manga) and will show the tournament that decides the Tokyo Representatives (the prefecture that Nekoma and Fukurodani are from) for nationals. Highly recommend it before continuing season 4

Asssuming you loved the avatar-verse, i really recommend you guys to watch the legend of korra. It tells the story of, well... korra, the next avatar. And you would love it. =)

shiratorizawa doe'snt win nationals. they just always qualify and are usually are in the top 8 of the tournament. they're also not a really really good team. they just literally have a slightly strong team with the best ace in japan (ushijima)

I'd say this arc is more about changing Hinata's Perspective.
If he just does training or usual drills he will go back to his old habits.
He needs to think more, understand more.
He needs the ability to see in in a greater perspective.
Like he can always train for when the ball is in front of him but the ability to tell where the ball will be spiked takes knowledge and perspective....

The thing about Haikyuu it’s that u get to see almost all of the characters development. The fact that we get to see each one of them grow for the better was what made me so attach this anime

The OVA’s are important to watch as they give a bit more background. OVA 3 Land vs Air needs to be watched before the Nationals start. Probably would have been better before watching S4 but I think it’ll still work if you watch it between the training arc and the competition start.

why is unrralistic if they win nationals? if u are there u have the chance to win, u are the best team in ur region would be that crazy to end up winning? i dont get it

I hope i watched haikyuu the same phase they are doing. I binged watch all seasons in just few days and i honestly regret it. Though i am sure i will definitely do the same if ever i will watch haikyuu for the first time again.

i highly recommend you guys to give it a try in watching another goated sport anime Kuroko No Basket (Kuroko’s Basketball). honestly my number 2 best sport anime after Haikyuu. you probably gonna love it. it gives Haikyuu vibes
