I prefer border Town currently to wanderlost. I tried both but wanderlost seems rather clunky right now and the controls were less intuitive. The fact that you can be attacked even when you have a menu opened is a negative for me. As for border town, there didn't seem to be a way to make money but you need money to buy certain items (you can trade in some stores but not all). Also if you die in border town you lose everything, so that's something I'd want to see them fix or at least give us a way to recover them.

Since I love management games, I’m really interested in roboplant. I currently have a few uncompleted farming games so I think I want to slow down on those getting more farming games until I finish one of them or at least make more significant progress.

I made the decision to NOT download any demo this time around. Tbh it is so difficult to STOP downloading demos but I had to cause these Fests are getting more and more insane while I have a massive backlog to maintain as well lmao. Excellent picks as always. Aka, Wanderlost and Harvest Island are on my radar for full releases ✨✨

The Mars farm is funny. It makes me think of the old Zak McKracken game, haha.
My fav upcoming one is Hogwarts legacy where you can grow plants and gather and take care of magical beasts. It won't be the main focus of the game, but could be more fun than all those indie games.

I feel like Harvest Island is just Kynseed.

Wanderlost looks like a cute Project Zomboid, which I really want to play on release. I'm excited for Aka as it's mix of several ideas is perfect to me, the game is going to be released sometime this year. I can't wait for Aka, a cozy and thoughtful game!
