Not only do they keep getting slaughtered with literally no mercy on the battlefield (even unarmed and surrendering B1's are given no quarter and are killed almost for sport by both Republic and Jedi forces) along with being berated and abused by their superiors, with Grievous routinely smashing B1's like a petulant toddler with a toy for even looking at him funny. After years of this horrific treatment, perhaps the B1's decide they've had enough and just stage a galaxy-wide walkout and establish a colony in the far reaches of the Outer Rim.

Could you do a story about if Dooku decided to foster A grand-master grand-padawan relationship with ObiWan following Qui-Gon's death? Helping him learn how to be a master and trust in Qui-Gon's teachings and lack of commitment to the council so that he would behave more like his late Master, and trust in the Living Force rather than the Council or Unifying Force.

Through this, Kenobi would be Dooku's last tether to the light, keeping him from trusting Palpatine S much. He'd still become a sith, but more of a 'light' Sith that would see Sidious dissatisfied with being unable to control him as well, and Dooku from being as corrupted by the dark side. These attachments, Dooku's to Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, would end up saving him.

Times and stories like this makes me think of the song Hey Brother.

Here's few scenarios I just thougth about. What if the Kamonians and count Dooku pulled a fast one on Palpatine, and installed fake control-chips. Dooku never actually working for Palpatine, or turning to the dark side, just decieving Palpatine all along. In this scenario he is still alive, and present, when Mace Windu and friends come to face Palpatine. At this point, Dooku shows his true colours and joins in against Palpatine, (possibly) preventing Palpatine from killing any of the other Jedi Masters present.

Or; What if the Jedi counsil had been in cahoots with the Sith for centuries, plotting alongside to overthrough the Republic and replace it with a shared Empire.
Anakin in this scenario was possibly the "chosen" one by the living Force to stop them both.

What if the Sith (or at least Palpatine) were never truly evil, and were working with the goal of doing what was in the best interest of the general public. Simply seeking to improve the quality of life for the population at large. Hius actual goal in this scenario is to expose the corruption of the Senate, and to try and make the Jedi see the corruption and help him restore the Republic and remove the corrupt officials. The CIS this time is acting completely on their own, with Palpatine actively trying to protect the Republic from them.
Possibly he may also be trying to restore true balance in the Force, "re-uniting" the Sith and Jedi to return to the ways of the ancient Je'daii.
